Michael Jackson to be paid $60million for tour

Michael Jackson

Looks like Michael Jackson’s dismal financial situation is about to improve very soon. He is reportedly going to tour in London at the 02 arena and perform 30 shows for $2million a piece which will add up to $60million. That amount should definitely be able to pay off some of his large debt.

Via Showbizspy:

“The 49-year-old former ‘King of Pop’ will receive $60 million for for the 30 day show at the London venue—formerly the Millennium Dome — a whopping $2 million a show.

The residency will be Jacko’s first tour in a decade.

Michael has been working with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and rapper 50 Cent.

A source close to the financially troubled singer said:  “Michael will be back on stage soon. He’s been working hard in the studio mixing tracks and getting his vocals back in shape.”

It is 25 years since Michael Jackson released his hugely successful album Thriller, which became by far the biggest selling album of all time with worldwide sales reaching over 104 million copies.”

Just use your money wisely Mike.

    Get your twisted story straight.

Michael Jackson’s tour would earn him far more than $60 million dollars. In fact he earns about $75 million a year from his 50% ownership of SONY/ATV. The “debts” he has are far less than his worth which is in the multi-billions; and you should know that.

This was reported in Forbes Magazine back in 2005 The story was purposely titled(with a bias slant)”Strange Facts About Michael Jackson”
The entertainer is a partner with Sony (nyse: SNE – news – people ) in a music publishing business, which owns more than 300,000 songs and generates as much as $75 million a year in income for him.

This can all be varified with minimal research(a term the media no longer comprehends)
    As of 2008

Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC is one of the world’s largest music publishing companies. The company was formed by the 1995 merger of the Sony Corporation of America’s music publishing business with ATV Music, which Michael Jackson had purchased in 1985 for $47.5 million from Australian businessman Robert Holmes à Court. Given that Jackson’s ATV Music was more valuable asset, he was awarded with $110 million alongside with receiving 50% of shares in the merged company. Also, Jackson kept as his sole property Mijac Music Publishing catalogue, which owns all of artist’s composed music, as well as of many other acts.
The S/ATV MP or administers over 600,000 copyrights, including works by The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, The Everly Brothers, Hank Williams, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond and numerous others. Among Sony/ATV’s most valuable holdings is the Northern Songs catalogue, consisting of 180 songs written by The Beatles (mostly by Lennon-McCartney). According to the Sony/ATV Music website, the company owns or administers 1,963 songs from the Lennon-McCartney catalog.[1]. In May 2007, Sony/ATV acquired the Famous Music publishing company from Viacom’s Paramount Pictures for $400 million. The Famous Music catalogue includes 125,000 songs. The company is co-owned by Sony and trusts formed by Michael Jackson.

When he does tour he will again break records. I find the 100% bias treatment the press has for this indivisual to be an absolute conspiracy. Is one black man owning 50% of a major piece of media namely SONY/ATV which is worth more than $8 billion usd so unforgivable? Before you start with the molestation nonsense; when are we going to get the same animosity by the bias media on Woody Allen(accused of MOLESTING his children 1993). He later married his own step daughter. What about Roman Polanski(who may be pardoned by Bush) for raping a 13 year old girl and fled the country? What about Kelsey Grammer Who was also accused of child molestation in 1998? Joran Van der Sloot who is believed to have murdered Natalie Holloway(Aruba)? What about David Copperfield who was accused recently of raping and kidnapping a woman in Las Vegas?

Why is the accusation against Michael Jackson(who went to trial and won the case which included the[1108 law]“prior bad acts” allowing every claim and rumor to be included in this case)the only crime? Is it legal for the above mention persons to murder, rape & kidnap people? Why do I know about Michael jackson’s debts yet what about Madonna, Angelina Jolie or Jonny Depp’s debts and problems? Do they live for FREE and have PERFECT lives? Why only DAMN Michael Jackson? The media hypocracy is pointless; Jackson still has his fame and is wealthy(he really doe not have to work anymore). No matter how many time the media proclaim his doom; he is still standing. Thriller a 25 year old album was one of the biggest sellers for 2008; imagine when he releases new material and tour.

    You will learn that MJIS4EVER!

  7. Yea I Said It Says:

WOW… Tell us how you really feel about the scare crow. Michael can only sell out Ringley Brothers. They have freaks all day….

Where did his face go? When he is on stage who is going to hold his face in place? I mean whats to prevent his nose from spattering all over the place polluting the air? What color will he be on tour? How many wigs will he go through? And last but most important. What the hell will he sing? certainly not PYT. He can sing thriller cause that’s a halloween song and he wears his costume proudly…. I’m just sayin

  8. Smurfette Says:

I love MJ! Always have, always will! IF he was convicted of molestation, maybe I would feel differently but he wasn’t! So go head MJ! If I was over there, I would pay upwards of $400 dollars for a ticket to his show! Real talk! This is the greatest singe/dancer that ever lived. Period. There will never be another MJ. I wish ppl would quit harpin on what he looks like as if looks are everything. This man has pure talent from a child and ppl hated on him looooooong before the molestation shit. Imagine u were in his shoes. Growing up a child star and being told you are talented, then overnight the whole world calls u Jacko. For no reason. I feel for u MJ. I am a bit eccentric too, and ppl hate on me and I just wonder why ppl ever give a fuck about what I do in MY life. I aint hurtin nobody! So im wit u MJ! All day!

  9. lio Says:
