The Prom Premiere Project™

Our Goal

Our goal at The Prom Premiere Project™ is to make every girl feel like
a celebrity by providing girls who are effected by social, economic,
educational, or language disadvantages facing financial challenges that
would make attending a once in a lifetime event such as the prom
difficult with a prom dress and services free of charge.
With lights,
cameras, red carpet and a personal stylist, we want every girl to
experience the glamour of being a star for the evening. Building self
esteem and dreams one block at a time.

Mission

The Prom Premiere Project is a Beautiful Me Mentorship™ (BMM) program
presented by Yasmin Jande, Inc., a non profit organization. Our mission
at BMM is to heal and develop young minds building a complete sense of
self worth, independence and educating young women one girl at a time.
Building….one block at a time, one girl at a time.

Who is Eligible?

Young girls who are effected by social, economic, educational, or
language disadvantages. Each girl is required to be enrolled as a senior
in high school. The selections will be drawn from referral forms
submitted by principles, counselors, parents, social workers, etc. Self
submissions are also welcome.
To obtain submission forms please email us
at prompremiere@gmail.com and express your interest to refer a girl
or receive a dress. Submission deadline is March 15, 2008. Please follow
the instructions and fill out the forms completely for consideration.

The candidates will be hand selected by the Board of Directors and will
be notified by March, 29, 2008 of the Prom Premiere day by special
invitation.

Get involved? Volunteer? Sponsor?

Do you remember how great you felt on your prom night? Well you can feel
even better by sharing your wonderful experience with another young girl
and help to make her night just as wonderful by donating a dress for the
evening. We will be having our first Evening Gown Drive on January 12,
2008
from 12pm-4pm. We are accepting new or like new dresses. Besides
donating a dress, there are multiple ways to get involved. We are in
need of volunteers for pre-events and the Prom Premiere day. If you are
interested in volunteering and or sponsorship please email us at
prompremiere@gmail.com. Contributions for The Prom Premiere Project are
always welcome and greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to
