Oprah has done it again. What you ask? Well with her significant endorsement of spiritual self-help book “A New Earth” it has already sold a few million copies. From the time she first endorsed it 4 weeks ago it has been on top of Amazon.com’s list of best-sellers. “A New Earth” is the fastest-selling Oprah pick ever at Barnes and Noble Inc.It’s also a record shipment in a four-week span for any book by Penguin Group (USA), which has published such million sellers as Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Eat, Pray, Love” and Ken Follett’s Winfrey-endorsed “The Pillars of the Earth.”
What can we say she’s just the bomb.

Star Jones recently spoke out against racist FoxNews commentator Bill O’Reilly because of remarks that he made about Michelle Obama.
What Bill O’Racist said……
Bill O’Reilly was talking to a caller on his show about comments that Michelle Obama recently made stating that “For the first time in my adult life, I’m really proud of my country.” The caller was angered by her comments. Bill O’Racist then proceeded to add his KKK spin to it.
“I don’t want to go on a Lynching party against Michelle Obama unless there’s evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels. If that’s how she really feels- that is a bad country or flawed nation whatever- then that’s legit. We’ll track it down.”
Mediaoutrage- SMH at this guy he’s still gonna win MRMOYA. Most Racist Man Of The Year Award. He can just sit out the rest of the season because he’s winning by a landslide.
Star Jones response….
“I’m sick to death of people like Fox News host, Bill O’Reilly, and his ilk thinking that he can use a racial slur against a black woman who could be the next First Lady of the United States, give a half-assed apology and not be taken to task and called on his crap.
What the hell? If it’s ‘legit,’ you’re going to ‘track it down?’ And then what do you plan to do? How dare this white man with a microphone and the trust of the public think that in 2008, he can still put the words ‘lynch and party’ together in the same sentence with reference to a black woman; in this case, Michelle Obama? I don’t care how you ’spin it’ in the ‘no spin zone,’ that statement in and of itself is racist, unacceptable and inappropriate on every level.
O’Reilly claims his comments were taken out of context. Please don’t insult my intelligence while you’re insulting me. I’ve read the comments and heard them delivered in O’Reilly’s own voice; and there is no right context that exists. So, his insincere apology and “out-of-context” excuse is not going to cut it with me.
And just so we’re clear, this has nothing to do with the 2008 presidential election, me being a Democrat, him claiming to be Independent while talking Republican, the liberal media or a conservative point of view. To the contrary, this is about crossing a line in the sand that needs to be drawn based on history, dignity, taste and truth. Bill, I’m not sure of where you come from, but let me tell you what the phrase ‘lynching party’ conjures up to me, a black woman born in North Carolina . Those words depict the image of a group of white men who are angry with the state of the own lives getting together, drinking more than they need to drink, lamenting how some black person has moved forward (usually ahead of them in stature or dignity), and had the audacity to think that they are equal. These same men for years, instead of looking at what changes, should and could make in their own lives that might remove that bitterness born of perceived privilege, these white men take all of that resentment and anger and decide to get together and drag the closest black person near them to their death by hanging them from a tree — usually after violent beating, torturing and violating their human dignity. Check your history books, because you don’t need a masters or a law degree from Harvard to know that is what constitutes a ‘lynching party.’

Vivica Fox attended Roberto Cavalli’s newest store opening in Paris two days ago. We must say that despite her surgical addiction and the crazy receding hairline, Vivica is starting to look normal again. Definitely feeling that dress it’s probably a Roberto Cavalli design that cost upwards of $10,000.

Georgia Congressman and former civil rights activist John Lewis has finally made the decision to switch his support and superdelegate vote from Hillary Clinton who he originally endorsed to Sen. Barack Obama who won the Georgia primary in a landslide.
Via eurweb:
Lewis told NBC News that his decision to end his support for Sen. Clinton was “tougher” than leading the 1965 “Bloody Sunday” march from Selma to Montgomery, when police nearly beat him to death on the Edmund Pettus Bridge.
In a written statement, Lewis said Obama’s campaign “represents the beginning of a new movement in American political history” and that he wants “to be on the side of the people.”
Lewis, a superdelegate who gets a vote at this summer’s national convention in Denver, faced tremendous pressure to back Obama after his constituents supported the Illinois senator roughly 3-to-1 in Georgia’s Feb. 5 primary, and about 90 percent of black voters statewide voted for Obama, according to exit polls.
“After taking some time for serious reflection on this issue, I have decided that when I cast my vote as a superdelegate at the Democratic convention, it is my duty … to express the will of the people,” Lewis’ statement said.
“John Lewis is an American hero and a giant of the civil rights movement, and I am deeply honored to have his support,” Obama said in a statement.
Clinton, questioned about Lewis during a satellite interview with Houston television station KTRK, said: “I understand he’s been under tremendous pressure. He’s been my friend. He will always be my friend. At the end of the day it’s not about who is supporting us, it’s about what we’re presenting, what our positions are, what our experiences and qualifications are and I think that’s voters are going to decide.”
Mediaoutrage- Ok Mr. Lewis was clearly being a bit over dramatic to even dare compare the dangerous yet brave march from Selma to Montgomery with this decision, and he also probably came to grips with the fact that his ass would definitely be out of a f*cking job had he backed Hillary after Barack won the state. SMH at these black civil rights heroes that refuse to support Barack.

A New York Judge has ruled that the co-defendants in Ja Rule’s gun possession case must come up with their own bail money. He can’t put the dough up to bail them out. Never heard this before but anyway….
Via AHH:
According to Newsday, State Supreme Court Justice Micki Scherer said Wednesday (Feb 27), that Ja, born Jeffrey Atkins, “put himself in the position of perhaps controlling the outcome of the case,” adding that she felt it could pose a big problem.
Ja Rule was arrested on July 22 along with limo driver Mohamed Gamal and Ja’s road manager, Dennis Cherry, following a Lil’ Wayne concert at the Beacon Theater in New York.
The charges resulted from a .40 caliber handgun discovered in the rapper’s Maybach by police, who searched the vehicle after detecting the smell of marijuana.
The following day, Ja posted Gamal and Cherry’s combined $170,000 bond, as well as his own $150,000 bond, using his $3.5 million Saddle River, NJ home as collateral.
Mediaoutrage- The person who comes up with ‘arrest’ insurance for rappers is going to die a billionaire.
