I was the only black person in the room. The instructor was an old white guy who looked right at me with a big grin on his face and made a lynching joke. I didn't respond, I'm ashamed to admit, so I am very proud of Star Jones for taking action. If it ever happens to me or in my presence again, though, I plan to take action. All this to say these old white guys know exactly what they're doing. They're not innocent goofs. I attended a continuing education workshop about two years ago. Contrary to what Bill O'Reilly and others may say. I have experiences in my 50 years on this earth that says, racism is still alive and well. I'm all for CHANGE. Bill O'Reilly had absolutely no right to say what he did. I'm curious to see if he will spend as much time on his show to what he said compared to the amount of time spent on Rev. Wright. The white man sold, raped, beat and hung us out to dry. We as black people in this world have a right to be racists because of how the white man has been treating us at the beginning of time. And we support Obama because he can change the future of how things are done and run. Obama isn’t racists he is a fair man and he is trying to give everyone an equal chance in this world. Who really is racists in this world is the whites I mean when we come across certain whites they want to tare us apart. As black men and women we have a right to be racists in this unforeseen world. Whites look at us as a protégée. Like where nothing, and can’t do anything right. Like we can’t get things accomplished, be proud Americans in doing all that we need to do in this world to make it alone. When we start to do good for ourselves the white man wants to knock us down thinking that where not going to get back up and fight. But that is not the case for as long as we live we will always and I mean always be racists against the white man in this world. They tried to take our dignity away from us thinking that they’re right in what they think that they can do to us in any which way which I think is wrong. WHITES started with racism and we as black Americans will finish with being racists till the end of time. Go talk your ancestors and ask them how they where treated by the white man in the early 1800’s to the mid 1900s that depicts how we are as African Americans.
