Banned “Boondocks” episode satirizing Debra Lee and BET
Posted by Media Outrage on March 19, 2008
Aaron McGruder’s hit comic strip and television show “The Boondocks” produced an episode that was banned from TV but popped up on the net. The episode entitled “The Huey Freeman Hunger Strike” depicts BET’s CEO Debrah Lee as “Debra Lee-vil” a hateful power hungry woman with a mission to do destroy black people. Interesting episode pretty powerful. Check it out and let us know what you think.

That episode was hilarious. Now my question is…I wonder what Debra Lee-vil had to say considering that BET President of Entertainment, Mr. Reginald Hudlin is the Exec. Producer of the “Boondocks”. Is he still there?
Priceless I say.

We actually feel that that episode is a display of artistic genius and rib cracking comedy

I agree. I don’t know what was funnier, that it was actually done or the way it was done.

I don’t know what the hell Debra Lee actin all high and mighty for. She is money hungry to me and trying to run BET down the drain. BET was already awful having a man running it, with all those uncut videos and degrading shows. I thought a woman stepping in would make things better. Damn was I wrong. BET is worse than ever, I can’t stand to watch it.
