I’m from Detroit so we’ve seen all of this last week. What W2m don’t know is that she may have been out of line talking there but the city council president stay on her. He stay dogging her out and maybe it was just the day she lost it. It’s hard to keep your cool when you have someone like that on city council. In fact he just wants to be the mayor, he’s trying too hard to get Kwame Kilpatrick out of office so he gets no love from me.

Krist, I feel sorry for the constituents of Detroit that have to deal with this mess, but regardless to how he stays on her and dogs her out, it is up to her to take the high road and make him look like the ass he is if thats the case. The sad thing is that even though from what you say he is the one that is the a-hole, she made herself look like one and a silly one at that because regardless to what he has done in the past, America will only see this small portion. Ask Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
I feel for the mayor and your city for all that you guys are going through, but cooler heads need to prevail. There are just better ways to do things.

Does Chicago, New York, Miami, or Los Angeles have a city counsil. NO they do NOT and their cities seem to be able to GET THINGS DONE….. Why do we need a city council in Detroit….. This video is just more proof that we don’t. We are paying council members over 80k a year for this kind of sit down comedy routine… WHAT A WAIST !!!!! That is money that could be better spent fighting crime, or cleaning up the trashed streets of this “World Class City”.

This video says it all… How can we expect to rise up against our challenges in our communities when the leadership assigned to govern the issues we face are not capable of conducting a productive meeting? Detroit has a lot of issues that need to be addressed & I can see now why that city is in such bad shape!
