Orlando Brown’s been found

Posted by Media Outrage on April 24, 2008

Actor Orlando Brown has re-emerged after going missing for a day. He sent the media in a bit of a frenzy over his disappearance.

Via Yahoo:

The 20-year-old actor and aspiring musician disappeared Tuesday morning without word. He re-emerged Wednesday and issued a lengthy statement.

“It was wrong for me not to inform my manager … about my whereabouts, especially when I am usually so routine and big on communication, but I felt a little lost and needed to get away,” Brown said in a statement released Wednesday by his publicist, Elayne Rivers.

Brown went on to say he was upset at “how we as entertainers are so disrespected at times” after an incident at a nightclub where he had expected to open for the headlining act.

“I felt that that was my chance to prove that I was talented and I was really excited,” Brown said. “When I was told that I couldn’t perform… that really hurt. … It got a bit overwhelming and I needed to be alone.”

He apologized to his friends and fans and thanked them for their support, wrapping the page-long statement with “I have no further comments.”

Mediaoutrage- Well that’s good news that dude is alright and safe. But was this a miniature publicity stunt? Nah we don’t think it was he just needed to get away because he was feeling hurt and lost. Well at least now a few people will be able to associate his name with his face. He couldn’t have paid for this type of publicity.

I’m glad he has been found. I was called last night and was told this story had made its way to Nancy Grace on CNN. I was like dang. Good to know he is alright.

Now I question his choice in managers cause isn’t Ricky Romance Raz B’s brother. Just isn’t a good choice if you know what I mean.

Can we please….PLEASE get this boy some more press photos? I can’t stop laughing at this one, I can’t. He looks like some disney or maybe Pixar creature.

I really don’t feel he was in any danger and that like another person said it was a publicity stunt.

    B. you know you crazy, LOL. I agree those press photos are not the business.

I didn’t think he was in any danger myself, but you never know now a days. I questioned the publicity stunt, but as I always say there are ways to do anything. Now had he been Paris Hilton and went missing for a day they would have called in the FBI and the CIA. Then she would have put out an album and went platinum. He just ain’t that important in the grand scheme of things to pulling ish like this. I’m just sayin.
