Police check points was not a common sights on Nigeria Highways until 1970s when check points where mounted to curb the activities of raising crime rates in the country.Today, these check points have been turned to violation of human rights and exhortation points making motorist especially commercial vehicles targets, those who refuse to part with money are threatened with arrest or detention while in some case lives are lost in the process, as with this case: “ in 1981, Dele Udoh, a popular Nigerian athlete based in the United States who was home to represent Nigeria at a tournament, was shot dead in policemen in Lagos, following an argument at a police check point”.

Kinda a late on this i was in New York when this ac cured and it’s messed up these pigs get away with murder again and again. On the night in ? why didn’t they stopped them before they got in the car and if they had on plain close he probably thought they were after him that is the problem with cops they don’t use their better judgement you knew they had a gun just because they were black. They were undercover but had no evidence of shit just assumptions so when these so called cops cross the path of a criminal they become a criminals just like the people they help convict. These cops are dirty what makes it so bad Two of the officers were black and they should of been appointed to jury trial not just because it’s a right because they are cops. The judge was very prejudice of the decision and very old to make judgement not to say he’s not wise the ruling should be overruled and they should get charged again

This is beyond ashame this man lost his life in a hail of bullets after they fired 50shots???and they get off completely?Wonder if those 3 officers died the same way would their killers get off??/or get the chair just a question not wishing harm on them. The judge and this judicial system is so wrong.

We been covering Sean Bell’s case over at Highbrid Nation from the start and when I read today that the police officers were acquitted I was in serious disbelief. An unarmed man was shot 50 times and the people who did it are not responsible at all!? That’s crazy.

You know what I don’t eve know what to say. This is ashame. Where is the justice. NYPD & that judge need to be investigated.

I can’t see how any good is gonna come from this mess.
