The rumors are swirling that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are now engaged. Fast right?

MARIAH Carey‘s keeping mum about that ginormous diamond ring she started wearing on her ring finger last week, but a source tells us it’s definitely from her new beau, Nick Cannon – and that the duo are now engaged. Cannon bought the bauble for $2.5 million at Jacob & Co. on East 57th Street, where he was spotted again yesterday. “Maybe he’s making payments on it,” laughed our witness, who overheard Cannon telling Jacob Arabo they are set to marry. Carey’s new bling is 17 carats, with a whopping 10-carat center stone, and made of rare pink and purple diamonds. Cannon was also once engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks.
Mediaoutrage- $2.5million for the ring? Dang Nick even Jay dated Bey for like 7 or 8 years before he wifed her. At least get your hide and seek game on with the media first. It smells like publicity stunt. What do you think?

LOL @ Sweetthang! I couldn’t agree more though, like seriously Nick Cannon doesn’t have that kind of loot and who is he that she’s going to up and get engaged out of the blue? The post before last about them I believe referenced him spinning tables at some club…..Mariah should be dating the cat who owns the clubs little Nick is spinning records in.
