Celebs attend Fashion and Fantasy costume gala in NY

Plenty of A-Listers came out last night for the “Fashion and Fantasy” Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Beyonce, Mary J, Thandie Newton, Joy Bryant who was rocking the bomb dress, Kimora Lee and Djimon, Paula Patton and hubbie Robin Thicke, Venus Williams, Eva Longoria, Eva Mendes, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri and a few more. For me…If I was to pick a simple, beautiful dress, it would be Janet’s. But because I like different…I LOVE KIMORA’s Gown along with JOY’s.
Very daring. I saw another site who didn’t like either but I guess you have to be a bit eccentric to realize the detail and classic lines of these two gowns.

Wow, I loved Eva’s dress. Bey and Janet looked very classic in their dresses. I would rock either of thoses. I’m still trying to figure out Thandie’s dress. Look like she was going to a Leather & Lace Swing party…..hmmm.

As I look at Joy’s dress it is very different but in a cute way. With my shape I couldn’t rock that right though.

LOL @ W2m that was funny bout Thandie Newton. Don’t know what was on her mind. I have to admit this and then go get my eyes checked but Beyonce looks elegant. BUt best dressed Im feeling Joy Bryant ensemble. That is fire.

I would have to say my favorite gown would have to be Paula Patton’s because I love gold! It compliments her skin tone so well. I must say Beyonce and Thandie’s gowns are gorgeous as well

My favorite gown is Joy Bryants. Kimora’s gown is ridiculous and ugly. I like Thandie’s too cause it’s different and on the edge.

Yep everyone picked the gown i love the most! Joy’s gown is off the chain! It is so different. Sweetthang you said it is a Pucci dress? Lawd hammercy ive never even heard of that designer lol so it just sounds like it cost a good $5,000

Thandie Newton had one of the best looks of the night. And when it came to patterns, Kimora’s dress was the most unique. Everyone was stunning.

ok i missed all of this. im going to have to delve in the archives. thandie newton just looks like a freak i like it. joy bryant’s dress just made me have an epilleptic seizure, damn. hold on for a second while i get a spoon. shit.
