Philly police brutality caught on tape!!!

Posted by Media Outrage on May 7, 2008

What can we say about this mess??? 3 black men were stopped after a police chase on Monday night in which the cops pulled them out of their cars and proceeded to kick, stomp, and beat them with their batons. This is sickening. We wonder did these corrupt ass officers know that there was a news helicopter hovering above taping this entire disgusting incident. A police officer was killed in the line of duty last week in Philly so they are saying that the other officers are on edge. Well we say to that they shouldn’t have badges and guns if they are going to ignore the training that they go through to protect and serve. This is just an issue that needs to be brought to light and dealt with. The beating of Rodney King in the 90’s brought police brutality to the forefront, and the violent murders of Amadou Dialo (in which he was shot at 41times for having a wallet and hit 19) and Sean Bell who was shot at 50 times and hit 16 in which all 3 of those dirty cops were acquitted. And people wonder why young people don’t trust cops. SMH. Discuss………..

Does is actually take all of that to subdue someone?!!!

This is very disturbing. They treat people inhumane and they wonder why their ass get shot up.

Stop allowing your fellow man to treat people like this, making everyone of you a target for someone who isn’t willing to take an ass-whopping.

I have long seen cops abuse authority. This is beyond abuse. There is no way that it took all of that to subdue these men. On edge my azz. These cops need to act as though they had training so that nobody will walk up and put a cap in them. They wonder why folk act the way they do.

    Justice, protect and serve…..whats that??

I can give you a written guarantee that all of these thug@$$ offiers get off with a slap on the hand. It sickens me that there is a double standard when it comes to officers. My condolences go out to the slain officers during recent years, but there shouldn’t be such a double standard. When an officer is killed a nation wide manhunt takes place. Two people are killed everyday in Philly and the cops nor the media couldn’t give a rat’s @$$! Why don’t they treat all homicides with the same tenacity and fervor? What these cops are doing is no different than if a person is attacked on the streets by criminals. The only difference is the law backs these criminals.

I actually saw a cop take a big stack of cash from a drug dealer and put it in his pocket along with his cell phone in Philly, then the cop told him that ” well you are not going to need this now, so I’ll just take it off your hands.” What really offended me was that the cop did it in plain sight in front of about 5 people, atleast he could have waited till he went in the patrol car. Philly needs to hire cops that are smarter that actually care about fighting crime instead of trying to get away with the crimes that they commuted . They should atleast have a two year college degree instead of just hiring the high school bully that could not get a job anywhere else. Even if they did they probably would be fired for taking the money out of the cash register at mcdonalds. Sort of what I saw with the cop taking the drug dealers money.
