We’re really in love

Mariah and Nick are now speaking out and giving more details of this surprise wedding.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon say it was love at first sight when they first got together six weeks ago.
The pair knew right away they would tie the knot, they told People Magazine in an exclusive interview during their honeymoon in the Bahamas.
“I don’t think anyone realized what we already knew, that we were going to get married,” Carey, 39, told the mag, which goes on sale Friday.
On April 25, Cannon, 27 proposed to the singer on the rooftop of her Manhattan apartment with a 17-carat, pink-diamond ring wrapped up like a Ring Pop candy ring.
Family and friends who were invited to Carey’s island estate in the Bahamas for the wedding thought they were joining the couple for a music video shoot.
The only ones who had any inkling of the nuptials were those who had seen the couple’s matching back tattoos. Hers reads “Mrs. Cannon” and his “Mariah.”
The pair had live Maine lobsters, fine china and Dom Perignon champagne flown in for the beachfront ceremony with just a dozen guests, including Mariah’s best friend, Da Brat.
“I haven’t been shy in years, but I was speechless. I was elated, but I was thinking, ‘Don’t pass out,’ ” Cannon told People about the ceremony, conducted by Mariah’s New York pastor, Clarence Keaton.
The lovebirds say they are already thinking about having kids.
“It’s part of the whole purpose of getting married,” Carey said. “I’d just want our children to have the best childhood and upbringing they possibly could.”

LOL @ land of Bizzaro! now just wait a minute!! wasn’t Mariah just on Operah a couple weeks ago saying she didn’t feel she was meant to be a mother! HOW DID THAT CHANGE IN TWO WEEKS!!! this is all too weird and I’m sorry, but I’m back to my disbelief of this whole shananagan! lol

I’m with you Sweetthang. I mean come on matching back tattoes. That is never a good thing in this world of divorce…..especially in Hollywood. I give it 6 months to a year and they will be talking about “we rushed into things” and then they will be trying to get a brillo pad and scrub that mess off their backs.

I’m going to stick with the ladies and my guns on this and say that it’s STILL all a gimmick. None of this, NONE of it makes one bit of sense. I mean seriously have they been drugged, maybe someone has threaten to release a video, perhaps extort them or something?

First off we have to crack up at W2m “brillo pad and scrub that mess off” lol funny. @ B.Price we can actually confirm that it is true for real. Their people are talking to more than just People. From what we hear it is solid. Now whether their motives are actually based on “True Love” we do not know. But the legal part, yes they are man and wife for real no hoax, no Ashton Kusher, No Sike, She is Mrs. Cannon. Now how long it will last…who knows we have our old 80’s gym stop watches set at a few years but who knows.
