Rihanna recently revealed her desire to be different from the norm.
“I felt like the whole world had long, curly, flowy blonde hair. Ciara, Beyonce, Mariah, Christina Milian. Everybody wanted to be like everybody else. So I cut my hair and they (Def Jam) made me put my long hair back in (as extensions).
“The second time, I didn’t have any discussions, nothing. I just cut it, I dyed it black, I went into the studio making music my way. I found myself all at once. I like things strong, edgy, a little to the left. I don’t like things that are expected – nothing cliched.”
Mediaoutrage- So she’s a little to the left and wanted to be different, so we guess that’s why she came in the game killing our ears something crazy. But that’s whats up daring to be different and unique.

lol@Kristina..I agree..she was one of them when she first came out..who does she think she’s fooling? All of a sudden she wants to ’stand out’ or be ‘different’…what is so “different” about following this sudden ‘wanna-be rocker’ trend..another FOLLOWER..what else is new?
