Monica is coming to a TV near you with her own reality show entitled The Single Monica. The show will debut in August and be executive produced by its creator James Dubose, who did Keyshia Cole’s reality series on BET. To hear Monica talk about some interesting things in her life CLICK HERE.

“I really think this is going to be fun. My main thing I hope to accomplish with this is, well, you know, I didn’t do things in my life in the order people may have felt I should have. But ultimately, I’ve found my balance.
“We’ve found our balance,” she continues, referring to the father of her two songs, rapper/producer Rodney “Rocko” Hill. “As artists, as parents, and just as human beings. I hope this shows that.”
“It’s going to be a ride, I can tell you that. I’ll probably have a moment or two on there, but I’m more than comfortable with me. I’ve never really been secretive about my life and what I’ve gone through…So you know, people will see that I live the same type of life of many women with children. I don’t hire a car service when the kids need to go somewhere. There’s no nanny, no chef over here. I take care of home, and then might have to spend 14 hours in the studio. And people will see that.”

She is a perfect example of true diva. She can sing, dance and she is real person with real issues. I rather hear Monica sing than that old Beyucka or Rihucksuckle!

Me too. plus i was never a monica fan. move on she’s never going to come out with an album adn be a hit to me. too much time has elapsed and the fans are really fickle in this day and age

wow Yasmine, you are the first female besides myself that I heard say they were never a Monica fan, I never cared for her, and I have arguments with my friends all the time about her, sorry yall, but she didn’t do it for me. I was too busy listening to Sade and Erykah Badu during them days.lol Brandy was always my girl too, even though she fell off terribly now

Yes monica was just ok to me nothing special. She had her little time to shine and now its over just accept it instead of trying to make some heartwrenching comeback and failing something awful in the process. Her time is done for real. I loved brandy but she needs to fall back also its over. for real music industry is so fickle and if you fall off or back for too long its a rap for your career. There are only a few artist that that cant happen to. As much as i despise every inch of her BLOND WEAVE Beyonce could fall back for a year or 2 and still come back and folk be right back in that bad breath trance LOL. A. Keys the same thing. Jay Z and his ugly self has also proven that but its about tiem for grandpa to step the fuck aside
