Everyone’s favorite new rapper Lil’Wayne was in concert last night at the Travis County Expo Center in Austin Texas. Weezy definitely has a lot to smile about these days being that he was the only rapper to sell over a million units in its first week since 50 did it back in 2005. His over saturation finally paid off because we can all remember when every time you turned on the radio this cat was on every remix and song in the top 10. Where do you guys rank Weezy? Is he the hottest spitter in the game? Where does Jay and Kanye fall?

Where you place these people on you personal list comes down to where you are from in relation to the perspective rapper. Another thinh that will come into play is the content of their music and how you feel about that subject matter. People from the south will be more partial to rappers from that region.
Now if you ask me, conversations about Rap music have become almost as debatable as Politics and religion. Now I ask you this, If Pac didnt die would Jay-Z have had the career that he has had thus far. Dont forget that Tupac was going hard on Jay-Z when he died. Im sure Jay-Z and Rocafella Records was the group of individuals to get sucked into East/West Coast beef with Suge Knight and Deathrow records. I just think we need to appreciate every Rapper for what he brings to the game. Jay-Z said himself that he admired and respected a lot of rappers from the south, do you remember “Big Pimpin” Yeah the Song he did with them Bamas, as some of yall call people from the south. I give respect to the Rappers that have addressed issues that affect the African American Community. Rap is something that everyone pays attention to. So use it as a tool to get the word out and let the powers know that we see what is going on, we see you hidding your hands and we have figured out your plan.
As great a rapper as Jay-Z is I would have liked to stand up and say something, but he has never put is voice to work. Now I have learned the names of a lot of high end and pricy clothes, alcohol, cars and vacation spots from Jay but thats about it. Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous is a T.V. show, I dont want to buy the soundtrack to that crap.
