R&B crooner Mario stopped by the M.L. Wilson Boys & Girls Club of Harlem yesterday and kicked it with the kids for a little bit and then hit up B.B. Kings in NY and performed as a part of his Do Right Tour. We know Chris Brown is a bigger star than Mario right now but who possesses the better vocals?

mmmmmmmm If we are talking long term year, Mario will definitely have a long Career than Chris Brown….Just like Alicia Keys will have a longer career than Beyoncé.. you know where I’m going with that??? both make great music, But Chris Brown and Beyoncé are reaching to the 12-22 y.o crowd, while Alicia and Mario are reaching all generations. 25 years from now people will still be jammin Alicia keys and Mario song in the clubs, while Chris B and Beyoncé hits will be play on ” Old school” night… YOU KNOW WHAT I’M SAYING!!!

mario is like a gerald levert to me. he can sing his lil switching ass off, but his career has highs and lows. but he is consistantly there. and dropping baby making music that somebody will buy. he is more about the art than the sales. and i happen to think chris breezy will be around a long time, he is adaptable.

I agree with “Lio” on the career length. Vocally right now I have to say Mario has it. He has the vocal range and power that would outlast Chris.. but on a side-note as an overall performer I would have to say Chris.

MARIO…he’s got it! Chris is okay…but it is Mario’s old cd that I am still blasting in my car (I didn’t even get Chris’s cd it doesn’t appeal to me…I am in my early 30s)!
