Its seems as though self proclaimed Miami drug kingpin Rick Ross has been exposed as having worked as a Corrections Officer a few years back. SMH at the made up life LOL. Well anyway this is what the card pullers over at the Smoking Gun had to say about it…..
Via TheSmokingGun:
Apparently desperate to distance himself from any affiliation with law enforcement, the rapper Rick Ross has recently denounced as fake photos purporting to show him in a former career as a Florida prison guard. But Department of Corrections (DoC) records show that Ross, whose raps detail the Miami gangster lifestyle and his supposed days trafficking cocaine, did, in fact, work as a correctional officer for 18 months. Ross (real name: William Leonard Roberts) was appointed a prison guard in December 1995 at a salary of $22,913.54, according to the below personnel record, which was provided to TSG by Jo Ellyn Rackleff, a DoC spokesperson. The rapper’s social security number is identical to that of the jail guard. According to the official document, Ross was earning $25,794.34 when he left the department in June 1997. After graduating from the DoC training academy, Ross was assigned to the South Florida Reception Center in Dade County (the lockup is one of three statewide that serves as an intake facility for new prisoners). To peep the paper trial of proof and see the video of Ross denying the pictures and his past of working for the law

Why do rappers do this…why do they pretend to be something that they aren’t? They act like if they don’t come from a broken home, been shot 25 times, or lived in the projects that they won’t be successful….SMDH! Yea that’s that nucca Rick Ross…..trying to act like that ain’t his big black ass….SMDH at this ish! I guess he don’t want no affiliation with the law considering the fact that he is a self proclaimed king pin….what kind of message are these fools sending to our children? I can’t stop SMDH!

This is not a shocker. Rappers have been doing this for years and i dont know why people are believing that someone is on the streets selling all this dope with no PRISON records?!?! From Jay to this country clown we see all this so called dope and no one on the streets remembering their careers on the street as these Felons.
Im 31 and I know that you arent going to sell KILOS on the street and pick up a microphone to tell about it. Why wont these 80’s babies understand that?

Like I always believed.. A rapper is only a gangster on record.. And the things he does that are “gangsterish” are only to develope the street cred of his character..

When will people distinguish whats reality and whats entertainment??? These rappers are here to entertain..meaning majority of what they speak about is false.
We all know there simple minded to be sporting blood diamonds and brag about it(Game *cough cough*). To believe this negros were smart enough to live that type of lifestyle and still be alive to tell about it..is dumb.
Who would go from a kingpin to a rapper? Those words dont even belong in the same sentence.

We are in bad shape when People are running around Saying “Fuck dat, N!gga I aint wit working. Aint nothing real bout having a job……Who had a job?…….. N!@@a you aint talking bout me!!!! What?? N!@@a, you Mama had a job”.
I read a article where this clown said that he needs at least 10 million a year to live. Yeah right N!@@a!!! whats $10,000,000 minus $25,794.34?
I am from Miami and I always had this question about William Leonard Roberts B.K.A Rick Ross. If you are from Miami who has it share of well connected and famous “Hood star” Drug Dealers, why take your stage name from a California drug dealer. Hell, we had enough running around Dade County. He could have used a name of one of the local boys like Big Ike, Blue, Rick Browning, Ricky Parks, Byrd, Killer Killdell, and Roots just to name a few.
Now I know why Him and Foxy Brown hooked up. They Role play in the bed room, She pulls her county Blues out and Rick Digs faaaaaaar in the back of the closet to find his Correction Officer uniform and it be on. He can tell her to do anything and she has to do it or get sent to solitary.
Your career is done son. Ricy Ross Just Snitchin because he fiiiiniiiiishhh.
This ish is too Funny
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go home and put some water in Buc Nasty’s mamma’s dish, Good Evening
