Amerie who’s last hit took place while Clinton was being interrogated about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky, attended the 3rd Annual Hot in Hollywood at the Avalon while donning her pearly whites. Amerie has actually put out good music but because of the intensely competitive female r&b scene that is littered with superstars like Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, and Ashanti, record sales and the masses of fans have yet to really embrace her. Amerie just keep on grinding to stay off of that “do not resuscitate” list.

I don’t think a comeback is possible. Then again anyone can make a comeback im just doubting the potential success it would have.

that’s a shame too, she just won’t have staying power, vocally she’s not the strongest even though her songs were aight. she needs to hire timbaland, that might help

I like Amerie too. The record labels only promote certain projects so these artist need to learn how to do for themselves. If Kim K can figure out how to keep the cameras snapping then I know these creative souls should be able to stir-up some attention.
