Omar Gooding and Cuba Gooding Jr. hit up Omar’s album release party in Los Angeles. The family resemblance is definitely evident, but the acting skills are not to be compared. Omar’s role in Baby Boy (one of the worst movies we’ve ever seen) as a gangster was atrocious and terrible and whatever else means atrocious. Darius McCrary was spotted at the event also looking a bit on the round and heavy side. Good to see Darius out and about after this debacle. Where do you rank Cuba Gooding Jr’s acting skills?

This is a release party…what is this fool releasing..please don’t say a Hip Hop album…oh no I just got extremely sick! Ain’t no way I could see this bamma in a video acting hard and gangsta…NOOOO!!!

Cuba actually has some acting skills. He just looks some dang GOOFY but given the right script he could pull it off.

I think Cuba Gooding Jr is an amazing actor. He has had such positive and influential roles…don’t get me wrong he’s done some BS roles but haven’t they all! You don’t get to be great without a lil BS being thrown in the game.
As for Omar… I like him too, but I do know errybody can’t be a gangsta… I can’t imagine what that album sounds like though

Cuba Gooding is an excellent actor. One of my favorite movies with him in it besides Boyz in da hood is boat trip. I haven’t really seen Omar in enough films to gauge his ability. Baby Boy lol it was ok to me wasn’t that bad but Omar didn’t play the role of a gangsta too well.

This question was a waste of time, this is a no brainer. But I guess he is doing something right because keeps getting role after role, and like the song Tony Rich made called nobody knows why, Noboy knows why he keeps getting work. He started acting in the early 90’s but most of his movies, I have never heard of. If you pull up his filmography you will know what Im talking about.
