McCain is one ejaculation away from meeting Elvis
Posted by Media Outrage on September 4, 2008
Ok lets forget the fact that the Republican National Convention was about as exciting as watching every episode of “Mash”. Lets even forget about the fact that former New York City Mayor Rudy Guiliani, during his wack ass Sarah Palin warm up speech attempted to drive home the point that Sen. Barack Obama had yet to say the words “Islamic Terrorist” in any of his addresses, as if “Islamic Terrorist” are the only kind that exist LOL. Like the last time we checked Timothy McVeigh wasn’t an “Islamic Terrorist” but he still was responsible for the deaths of 168 Americans and the second biggest terroristic act on American soil behind Sept. 11. Ok so note to Rudy Guilaini other terrorist groups do exist. Lets forget the fact that John McCain selected Sarah Palin as a strategic move to draw in the women voters, and just do some new ish, that hadn’t been done. But is anyone even concerned about the fact that John McCain is already like 2006 years old and was probably one of the characters in the bible? Or does anyone care that if elected, we would be placing this nations security and future, in the hands of a man that looks like he’s one good ‘bust of a nut‘ away from talking to Lincoln? Maybe it’s just us. Oh well.

he isnt even an ejaculation away, he’s more like an erection away. i mean if he can get one.

@ MO…
Profound blurb!
Here’s my take…
This is a republican strategy. There’s a conspiracy brewing. More to come…
Any takers too?!

For those who want to be educated / informed:
John McCain is 72 yearsold. If elected, he’d be the oldest president ever inaugurated. And after months of slamming Barack Obama for ‘inexperience,’ here’s who John McCain has chosen to be one heartbeat away from the presidency: a right-wing religious conservative with no foreign policy experience, who until recently was mayor of a town of 9,000 people.
WTF?
Who is Sarah Palin? Here’s some basic background:
She was elected Alaska’s governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.
Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.
She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000.
Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.
She’s doesn’t think humans are the cause of climate change.
She’s solidly in line with John McCain’s ‘Big Oil first’ energy policy. She’s pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won’t be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.
How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.
*************************************************
Republican conspiracy on the horizon….Stay tuned.

Rebublican bloggers…
What’s your take on Palin?
September 4, 2008 at 12:39 pm
@ Rocksee Says: Thanks for the education. Nothing turns me on more than a woman with brains. But please dont think Im trying to be disrespectful by saying that you are smart, therefore me being turned on by you and your brains.
September 4, 2008 at 12:47 pm
LOL @ MO saying “one good ‘bust of a nut‘ away from talking to Lincoln. If McCain busted a nut nothing would come out of his johnson except dust.
September 4, 2008 at 1:01 pm
I think Sarah Palin has taken away the option of the Republicans to argue about inexperience! Her idea of a speech was to insult rather than to really talk about the issues. And of course you know they’re gonna crying sexism when Biden get at her at a debate and expose her!
September 4, 2008 at 1:03 pm
You guys are obviously biased but come on.
You say that McCain is too old. Well I can say that Obama is too young.
Obama is crafty and a skilled speaker no doubt. But the fact remains that when you strip away all the razzle and dazzle that this celebrity culture fiends for, you have a man that is shallow at best, and shady at worst.
Why? Because he flip flops, he doesn’t put his ass on the line. It’s hard to see what he stands for based on his track record. Who the hell votes “present” on controversial issues and then proceeds to base a campaign on “change”?
Over the course of this decade it appears like Obama has been finely groomed for this presidential run….he has embraced his celebrity status and pimped that for all it’s worth. However, he hasn’t done anything politcally or in his life really that could be viewed as putting his ass on the line.
If I had to go into a fight and had to choose someone to have my back, well personally I’d rather have McCain on my side then Obama. His (McCain’s) character cannot be questioned.
May the best man win.
September 4, 2008 at 1:11 pm
Rockesee: Your post regarding Palin touches on some issues that anybody running for the republican party will have.
Let me be clear I’m pro-choice and I’m very much anti-religion.
However, I respect people that put their ass on the line and stand up what they believe in.
Whether you agree with them or not….you still have to respect them.
September 4, 2008 at 2:00 pm
I watched Gov Palin with great sadness last night. I would have liked to hear views on issues most important to all of us, like where do we go from day one? How will Mccain solve the fuel prices? how will he create jobs? and what is your role as VP to help solve the issues of the economy? On the war in Iraq, and the growing problems with Iran, the trouble brewing in Georgia with Russia and lets not forget Afganastan and the real war on terror, how will Mccain deal with all thats stretching our military might very thin. Mccain made picking his VP as easy as deciding what shoes to wear today. My livelyhood depends on who sits in that chair int he oval office. If Mccain should die in the first or even second year of his term, heaven forbid i am not confident Gove Palin is the person i can trust to lead this country.Lets not misrepresent our dislke for Sen Obamas color,to say he is inexperience. Neither is Gove Palin however i keep hearing it stated she has judgment, so does Sen Obama, she was a great Mayor, Sen Obama is a great senator, she was against the endless bridge to nowhere, she was not,she pocket 250 million for her state after it fell in legalation. Sen Obams was against the war in Iraq and very vocal about it. He also reached across the aisle to work with two republican to work on two major bills one being the energy bill.Mccain you insult women,Democrat,Indpendent,Rebublican by selecting a woman based on her ability to pull in women voters, you assume we are not smart enough to vote based on issues that affect our families, and this country we live in. You based it on her having children and being a soccer mom. You also insulted the more experienced Republican candicates who would serve you well should you die. This is not a chess board and better yet you are not a very good chess player what i saw last night was the dozens. This is why my choice is Sen Obama not because he is black but because i believe he is the CHANGE we need in Washington and the White House, and he is taking with hiim the best VP to serve with him.
September 4, 2008 at 2:25 pm
As a Democrat I would have to say that I love John MCSAME! His age is exactly what we want! (OLD) His VP pick is even more remarkable. ( FEMALE GOVERNOR OF A STATE THE SIZE OF BROOKLYN AND MAYOR OF A TOWN WHOSE BUDGET WAS 1/8 THE SIZE OF OBAMA’S WHOLE CAMPAIGN) I thought her speech was real cute…to bad someone with real experience (JOE BIDEN) is going to rip her a new one in 28 days. Also, in these speeches, where is her plan for the economy?! Anything that had to do with the national issues she didnt even mention….(I LOVE IT)
John MCSAME’S birthday was last week. I felt like he gave the democrat’s a present……
September 4, 2008 at 2:33 pm
well said yes i said it!!
September 4, 2008 at 3:05 pm
lmao! well said MO
However, I respect people that put their ass on the line and stand up what they believe in.
I don’t even respect them in that aspect because I don’t think they’re running with the aspect of standing up what they believe is best for the country. John McCain has ran so many times that it’s not about what he believes in, it’s about finally fucking winning already.
September 4, 2008 at 4:20 pm
@Everyone: The was great love the information.
I would love to hear from more Republicans on what the thought about her speech!!
September 4, 2008 at 4:52 pm
PALIN: “There is much to like and admire about our opponent. But listening to him speak, it’s easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform — not even in the state senate.”
THE FACTS: Compared to McCain and his two decades in the Senate, Obama does have a more meager record. But he has worked with Republicans to pass legislation that expanded efforts to intercept illegal shipments of weapons of mass destruction and to help destroy conventional weapons stockpiles. The legislation became law last year. To demean that accomplishment would be to also demean the work of Republican Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana, a respected foreign policy voice in the Senate. In Illinois, he was the leader on two big, contentious measures in Illinois: studying racial profiling by police and requiring recordings of interrogations in potential death penalty cases. He also successfully co-sponsored major ethics reform legislation.
PALIN: “The Democratic nominee for president supports plans to raise income taxes, raise payroll taxes, raise investment income taxes, raise the death tax, raise business taxes, and increase the tax burden on the American people by hundreds of billions of dollars.”
THE FACTS: The Tax Policy Center, a think tank run jointly by the Brookings Institution and the Urban Institute, concluded that Obama’s plan would increase after-tax income for middle-income taxpayers by about 5 percent by 2012, or nearly $2,200 annually. McCain’s plan, which cuts taxes across all income levels, would raise after tax-income for middle-income taxpayers by 3 percent, the center concluded.
Obama would provide $80 billion in tax breaks, mainly for poor workers and the elderly, including tripling the Earned Income Tax Credit for minimum-wage workers and higher credits for larger families.
He also would raise income taxes, capital gains and dividend taxes on the wealthiest. He would raise payroll taxes on taxpayers with incomes above $250,000, and he would raise corporate taxes. Small businesses that make more than $250,000 a year would see taxes rise.
If you stand in front of millions, at least tell the truth.Othewise you are no better than the lying lair you share a ticket with
September 4, 2008 at 4:55 pm

I know this is probably a site where the writers and staff are democrats and Obama worshipers, but please give me a friggin break! This guy doesn’t have one bit of experience compared to McCain or Palin. All he does is talk about hope minus a plan. Sorry excuse my french for the kiddies on this site but Fuck Obama! McCain Yes We Can!!!!!!!!!
September 4, 2008 at 6:20 pm
You see what happens when we talk about politics!! That’s why I am keeping my party affliation to myself!!
September 4, 2008 at 6:22 pm
If you think being the mayor of a town the size of a day care and an old man who is 10 seconds away from meeting Jesus “experience” then you need help dude. Look at the polls and electoral college, THEY DONT STAND A CHANCE….
FUCK McCAIN 08
September 4, 2008 at 6:22 pm
F*ck Obama…I think you picked the wrong site and posted on the wrong candidate…yeah, that’s it! We forgive you! Fall back..way back..I beg of you!
THIS IS A WARNING! WE CRAZY UP IN THIS MOFO!
September 4, 2008 at 6:25 pm
Oh goodness lol he is crazy lol.
September 4, 2008 at 6:31 pm
I’m not trying to be disrespectful to the guy or anything because he seems like a brilliant man. But with that said there are a sea of geniuses walking around this country that don’t have the experience or leadership skills to run a nation.
Nothing this man says moves me. Like does he really move you??? Or (please forgive this question) are you just voting for the guy because you want to see a black president? I have plenty of buddies and co-workers that have confessed to me that they just want to see a black president which i think it a cool thing also but not at the expense of this nation’s ruin.
Please don’t hit me with the “hes a racist thing” because I’m not. I have listened and listened to this boring ass suit and it’s time that someone say the jig is up Barack! so McCain Yes We Can!!!! And Barack F**K You and your entire staff of money hungry political assassins!
September 4, 2008 at 6:34 pm
dude, Ill let the bloggers on here handle this one!
September 4, 2008 at 7:16 pm
“Like the last time we checked Timothy McVeigh wasn’t an “Islamic Terrorist” but he still was responsible for the deaths of 168 Americans and the second biggest terroristic act on American soil behind Sept. 11.”…Amen and Thank you very much!
I was waiting for Palin to get into their policies and intentions instead of acting like my 8yr old “name-calling”. This incessant evasion of real issues is increasingly annoying! I am ready for the debates!
September 4, 2008 at 7:27 pm
You might not be a racist *F.. Obama but you sure are ignorant.Whatever we think of Mccain we try to keep it in prepective based on the facts before us, and not based on anti Mccain sentiments. We can all go from blog to blog and trash the candidates, however grown folks agree to disagree, with out the Sara Palin style mudslinging. You won’t get us riled up if thats your hope. We fell good about our choose of candicate and repeat the views of those who don’t.
September 4, 2008 at 7:27 pm

September 4, 2008 at 8:31 pm
Ok…
I couldn’t resist.
@ Jan — No offense Boo…but you’re showing your “color”.
We’re kind like “colorless” around here…we welcome all people or not, based upon style. Take it for how you interpret it.
Never said I agreed or not…”just presenting the facts Ma’am…just the facts.”
We’ll chat later…
I’m interested in picking your brain.
I think you’re just who we’re looking for.
September 4, 2008 at 8:32 pm
@ Yea I Said It: True irony. “McCain is one ejaculation away from meeting Elvis”. The title of this post is a malicious yet funny attack on John McCain and yet no one objected to this. I say a few hurtful yet true things about the media’s new golden boy (he’s more a rock star than a political candidate) and I’m out of line?
You let me know if there’s anything hypocritical about that.
September 4, 2008 at 8:51 pm
The title is not indicative of the response, you use the title to spew your thoughs in the most negative way. And no you did not say anything i found to be truthful, where did you get your facts, allow all of us to see your point of view. It’s the same for religion, everyone has their own and no one disresect anyone elses no matter what they think. Disagree with us but make sure it’s based on facts otherwise some of us tend to take offense in the delivery….. come back at me
September 4, 2008 at 10:34 pm
SHIT!!!!!!!!! I got here late. But like always yall held it down like a Standard Stockless U.S. Navy issued anchor. I can smell fear, how about yall?
September 4, 2008 at 10:37 pm

September 4, 2008 at 10:46 pm
I think they tucked their tail and Ran. *Lil dog on the porch arrrrf, arf, arf, arf,…..yeah im bad!!!!!
September 4, 2008 at 10:49 pm
Rocksee –
first off, I’m a guy so cut the “boo” crap
secondly, I don’t exactly know what you mean by “showing my color”? Yes, I am white but hey I don’t see how that matters in the grand scheme of things.
Lastly, let me say this. I never thought I’d support a republican because a) I hate organized religion more than you could imagine and b) I find many of their policies backard and just flat out retarded (like gay marriage, stem cell research, anti-abortion etc. etc. etc.)
And I’ll be the first to say that the things republicans say are some of the most ignorant things known to man.
But then again, the deomocrats do that as well….guess that’s politics
However with that said, I find this whole Obama hype machine ridiculous. Whether it’s the liberal media or just the average joe who doesn’t know the facts but is going to vote for Obama because it’s “Cool”. Give me a break.
The man is a fantastic speaker….has fantastic charisma. No question about it.
However, a good speech does not make for a good president. All the stuff he says sounds good in theory but there is NO WAY HE CAN EVER ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISH WHAT HE IS SAYING.
He has NEVER put his ass on the line ANY TIME. Everything the man has done appears to be a carefully calculated plan to make this presidential run.
It’s just too much of a hype machine. That always ends badly.
September 4, 2008 at 11:40 pm
Why the fascination with putting your @$$ on the line, and how many people even know what it means or better yet have done it???
Now I just can’t figure out how someone can feel like this about a group and side with that same group and I quote from Jan.
“Lastly, let me say this. I never thought I’d support a republican because a) I hate organized religion more than you could imagine and b) I find many of their policies backward and just flat out retarded (like gay marriage, stem cell research, anti-abortion etc. etc. etc.)
And I’ll be the first to say that the things republicans say are some of the most ignorant things known to man.
But you are voting for McCain…..Woooooooooooooooooow. I ask this, if your Issue is not color, then you have to feel like Obama is the worst person in the world. Look at the state of America, we are in a situation so grim that I’m not sure we will ever regain footing and get back on course. And this all happened while who was on watch? It wasn’t Obama or a Democrat. So if you were a racist it would make it easier to understand the way why you feel the way you feel about Obama, but for the life of me I cant understand your logic on this issue if its not race.
Oh and by the way, just to help you out with you’re “Ghetto Jargon”. Just because you are a man does not mean that you can’t be called “Boo” Im a man, and If Rocksee called me Boo, my reply to her would be, O.K. thanks Boo. See how that works? Now you have been educated.
September 4, 2008 at 11:53 pm
I think the name Jan may imply you are a female. Rocksee did not mean anything mean when she called you boo.We don’t mind you coming to play, just play fair, and if it’s something we don’t understand enlighten us,,just do it without attitude.
September 4, 2008 at 11:57 pm
2020 i am with you on that issue, Why have a viewpoint about candidate and not a very good one i might add, and still side with him? I could draw my on conclusions but that would mean i don’t have an open mind and i am open to knowledge every day.
September 5, 2008 at 12:25 am
2020VIZN
Trust me, race is not the issue.
While I don’t agree with the republicans on their social stance, I do side with them on their foreign policy and their economics.
You say that the country is in a grim situation huh? and you are blaming this all on the republicans?
NOBODY complained when house prices were going up, home owners were making money using their house as an ATM, people were buying iPods, flat screens and other over priced crap to please themselves. It’s like everyone thought the ride would last forever.
Guess what? It never does. No matter who’s in charge. The economy goes in cycles.
Obama says he will cut taxes and help everyone huh? Tax rates will bump up when the Bush tax cuts expire which will result in a higher starting rate. Obama will raise capital gains taxes, taxes on investments and OBAMA HAS ALREADY VOTED THREE TIMES TO RAISE THE TAX RATES for the bottom three tax brackets.
On the other side, McCain will extend the Bush tax cuts.
On foreign policy….do you think that if Obama gets elected all the enemies of the US will just disappear? What happens if Obama pulls this “let’s talk it out” attitude and they will look in his face and say “okay”? They will just go and do what the want because they will see America as weak. The countries that want to wage war against America aren’t rational, they are backwards, driven by religion and a sense of righteousness.
Say what you want about the war in Iraq but imperialism has been around since the beginning of time and it’s better that we gain control of that area as opposed to the other side.
Re: race….come on now. I hate when people use this as a line of defence. For some redneck in Alabama it may matter but for most civilized people that can actually engage in a discussion, it is a moot point.
If you want to know my stance on race, i’ll give it you right now. It doesn’t matter to me what color you are if you are able to communicate in an adult manner. However if you are some white redneck idiot or someone that sterotypes the black street gangster image. Then on both accounts I think you’re a moron and that has nothing to do with your color but rather your actions.
There’s idiots in every race.
I do not think Obama is an idiot…..far from it.
I just don’t think he will do a good job.
But either way this election is much more interesting than the awful snooze fest of 2004.
September 5, 2008 at 12:29 am
@ yea i said it, Yeah its perplexing to me to see a person have the disdain for the Republican Party and all of a sudden when Obama is the Democratic National nominee becomes a Republican for no good reason. Give me a good reason for this flip flop other than color and I will listen with open ears. But I am supposed to vot for a man that says that American have been getting their homes forclosed on because they bought houses that they cant afford. Well if thats the case, lenders are the financial experts and when we open up our financial portfolio and say that I want to buy a home and these people dont tell you that you might not be able to afford this house and advise you on what you should do acording to my income but instead puts me in that home just to make them a buck then they should be considered criminals, because thats greed and greed always destroys. So what do they do? give you a fluctuating interest rate with a baloon payment at the end. Now that sould be against the law. But he blames the consumer for it instead of holding these finance companies accountable. He has the same mind state that he had in 89 when he was caught up in the Keating 5 scam.
September 5, 2008 at 12:34 am
Also what many people that aren’t informed fail to realize is that John McCain is probably the most NON-REPUBLICAN REPUBLICAN based on his prior history.
I don’t believe McCain will pursue republican social causes with much vigor.
This Sarah Palin may embody the true republican spirit on the outside but hey she is only the Vice President. Sure McCain is old but let’s stop with ageism
September 5, 2008 at 12:41 am
2020VIZN – you don’t believe that someone should be accountable for their own actions? How is a mortgage seller a criminal for selling you a mortgage? So people that smoke shouldn’t be repsonsible for their own actions and we should just pass the blame? pleaaaaaaaaassssssssse
That’s the problem with America. Everybody plays the fu#$%ing victim. Nobody complained when they were buying crap they didn’t need. Now that the well has dried up, there should just be blame and no accountability for ones own actions?
We used to be stone cold nazi killers that smoked cigars and had the ability to take an insult or a punch. Now we’ve turned to a bunch whinners that blame everyone for their misfotunes and expect someone else to fix their problems.
September 5, 2008 at 1:18 am
The Staff of M.O. applauds everyone who has contributed to this discussion with such intelligent vigor. We love to see you share and exchange knowledge despite being on opposing sides of opinion. That’s whats up.
September 5, 2008 at 1:30 am
When a democrat was in office, Bill clinton left this country with a surplus, so of course Americans could indulge in their desires. buying the homes of their dream, cars they wanted even a new electronic toy for their homes. There were jobs low gas prices and we were feared by other countries and repected. Jan alone comes the republicans who by the way controled the congress and the senate. We now find ourselves in a recession, unable to pay for the homes, some walking away from their home mortages, unable to afford enough gas to get back and forward to work, not able to go to a doctor when we really need to because we can no longer afford that first 5 to 600 dollars deductiable. And did i mention we are considered not only bullies by other countries but we have we have no respect from NATO, why because the US, thinks we don’t need other nations support in a sustain effort in our war on terrorism. We have now become the terrorist to other countries. Yea Jan i think the Republicans are every bit responsible for all of this………
September 5, 2008 at 1:46 am
I wanted to join in after reading all the comments, but Im just not political at all. In fact all I know about Obama is that he was on the cover of a magazine I saw in my local grocery store the other day, and all I know about Mccain is he looks really old. In fact I only clicked on the story cuz I saw the word “ejaculation”! What can I say? Im just horny! Lol
September 5, 2008 at 2:01 am
@ Yeah I Said It: you really want to stand by those comments in post #51?….really?
Re: US Feared and respected when Clinton left:
Clinton brought up the subject of stopping Hussein and his pursuit of nuclear weapons. He bombed the country and drew critcism from Russia, France & China (sound familar)
Clinton was critcized for the NATO led bomings in Kosovo which many claimed were done under false acquisitions of genocide.
Re: Economy under Clinton
While it did do well for the most part, there were many rough patches including the tech bubble, the long term capital management failure and let’s not forget Enron which played their games during Clinton at the helm.
Re: People not being able to afford their homes or buy gas
Again, the economy goes in cycles. Same people that are losing everything now, will be overspending in a decade. It’s the American way of life. Besides, should we really feel that sorry for these people? This is not Africa. It is America. You can start a business, you can get an education. You can do whatever you want as long as you have the gumption and motivation to make something of your life.
Can’t afford a doctor? Do something about it…..don’t sulk and blame others for your misfortunes.
Some people can lift themselves up and create their own wealth and others can’t.
This is America. The poverty seen here is NOTHING like it is compared to other countries. My wife is from Brazil. If you’ve ever been you’ll see people living in tiny square huts made of rotten wood. Not just 10-20 people but thousands in a community. That is real poverty. America’s poor are blessed with more wealth than most in the world. They just choose not see that.
Re: NATO & THE UN
You have to see that at the end of the day, no matter what rules are in place, a country will always do what is best for them. Whether it’s China, Russia, Iran, France or the US, it has always been the case and it shall always be the case. Thinking otherwise is just naive.
September 5, 2008 at 2:22 am
Jan your comments are spoken like a true republican. Yes i stand by my comment.
I don’t think anybody feels sorry for themselves, we were pulling ourselves up by our own boothstrap, we just did not expect to be knock back down, by the theives in the temple( the white house and Bush/Cheny admin. I don’t see the problem with overspending if you earn the right to do so and it is your money, i do see the problem with rape of this country by the Bushes, I do see the problem with putting our military in harms way based on a preceive threat to Bush senior. Jr did state his issues with saddam was he threaten to kill my daddy.
The rules put in place by NATO serves all nations and when one country thinks it is above any others and do as you say what is in their best interest the results are what we have going on now. An unnecessary war in Iraq and lives lost for what really amounts to nothing but stealing and wanting to control the oil rich country.
No one in this day and time can afford a doctor, not because we sulk but because insurance companys with the help of the current administration makes it so we first have to pay a higher deduction before we can see anyone, issues beyond our control,we can’t solve. What is in our control is how we decide to live the next four years.
September 5, 2008 at 2:25 am
i love the intellegent banner and the spirit of the Democratic party. But let’s take Party affiliation aside and look at facts. The media elects presidents If that isnt the biggest fact how many of us sat down face to face with John McCain or Barack Obama? Did you have coffee with him? Did you sit down and talk politics with him? DOUBT IT!
So, by that said if 90% of all the major media outlets want the charismatic, elegant Barack Obama over an olf fart like McCain, then that’s the way it is. The average American couldn’t name the state senator of where they are. People are all about perception. And McCain voting 95% of the time for GW Bush is basically calling himself the same.
Fact: There are more people protesting outside in St Paul then rednecks cheering for this old fart!!

i love the intelligent banner and the spirit of the Democratic party. But let’s take Party affiliation aside and look at facts. The media elects presidents If that isn’t the biggest fact how many of us sat down face to face with John McCain or Barack Obama? Did you have coffee with him? Did you sit down and talk politics with him? DOUBT IT!

Jan while we can’t change each other minds on our point of views we can agree to disagree. I respect your thoughts and welcome your comments everyday of the week and when you do check in, just know,no one means any harm in title of a post. Media Outrage has never expressed a stand on either of the candidates they allow us to state ours. I find a difference of opinion is very helpful and goes alone way in processing why people think the way they do. We might not understand each other and the reasons why we vote or think the way we do. I just always ask whatever you vote base it on facts only and how your life will change in the next four years. And by all means never base it on skin color, and speeches base it on the issues and who will bring to the table a resolution to dig us out of the hole we are, and we are in a hole.
September 5, 2008 at 3:03 am
@ Jan — So much to say, but it’s time for bed.
I will close with this one thought…
Your quote, “He (Barack Obama) has NEVER put his ass on the line ANY TIME.”
Sweetheart…Darlin…Boo…
Wink!!
Cause you still my Boo now…
Wink again…
Barack Obama puts his “ass” on the line EVERYDAY…in fact he’s been doing so, since he was about 5 years old….oh wait a minute…I’m sorry…since his first breath…
It’s so SELFISH of you to not be sensitive to the fact, that EVERYDAY…EVERY Black Man puts his “ass” on the line the minute he walks out the door.
A few questions for you…
Been pulled over for a ticket lately…?
Been followed by security in Neiman Marcus lately…?
Had the “glass ceiling” put in front of your nose lately…?
Been over educated…over qualified…over accomplished…over worked…with no accolades to follow…lately?
Been framed for a crime you didn’t commit lately…?
Been sent to prison, only to be cleared of the charges 35 years later, because of DNA development techniques…lately…?
Read about Emmit Till…lately?
Been beat by a dozen billie clubs by the cops…lately…only to find yourself dead the night before you get married…lately?
Been overlooked by a promotion because of the color of your skin…lately…?
Been mistaken for another random black male lately…?
Been pimped by a Big Ten school’s athletic program lately…?
Been allowed to graduate from that Big Ten school lately…without the ability to read or write?
Been told you’re worthless…ignorant.. and would never amount to anything…all while you’re in the 5th grade…lately?
Been called Nigga’ to your face…lately?
Whose ASS isn’t on the line EVERYDAY?
I rest my case…and goodnight.
******************************************
And now for a Public Service Announcement…
(The Wonder Woman Theme Song plays with veracity in the background.)
Stay tuned as Rocksee will revisit this blog tomorrow! She remains proud of the bloogers bringing the intellectual volley to the forefront!!! Many a brilliant blog was posted tonight, as she must comment on each and everyone…
Prepare to be praised…
Prepare to say Hmmmm…
prepare to have YOUR ass put on the line…
If the shoe fits…
…lately.
(Theme song fades…light out…good night.)
September 5, 2008 at 3:12 am
@ yea i said it
Yes, agree to disagree….never thought I’d sway anyone. Just wanted to voice an opinion.
@ Rocksee
*Yawn* “boo”
This is what I mean by the victim thing…..it happens to everyone white or black. How many white kids get jumped by black kids? How many white kids or told their dumb and worthless by their abusive parents? Come on now….
You guys are accusing me of being racist yet it seems the only reason you’re voting for Obama is because of his race.
Funny.
And to answer one of your questions….yes I did get mistaken for someone else and beat down by the police just because I was in the wrong place at he wrong time. Another time I was accused of smoking pot and having it in the car while driving thru a roadcheck when I did no such thing. Shit happens. Get over it.
People should really stop feeling sorry for themselves and their injustices.
September 5, 2008 at 3:15 am
@ Jan…
Na – Na – Nah – Boo- Boo!
I didn’t go to bed…
I knew you’d be waiting!!!!
You’re such a sucka’!
September 5, 2008 at 3:17 am
@ Jan…
Oh and PS…
Cry me a river while you’re at it…
You’re having you’re “Come to Rocksee experience”.
Take it like a man already!!
September 5, 2008 at 3:34 am
@ Rocksee
lol, alrighty then.
Good job!
Signed, Sucka
September 5, 2008 at 3:39 am
LOL@this..wow!!
September 5, 2008 at 3:55 am
Jan why do you say that we are behind Barrack Obama because he is black. To me he is the best person for the job You Accuse us of being behind Barrack Obama just becaus he is black. No one said that’s the reason we are behind the man so dont assume that, Im sure you do know what assume stand for. John Mccain said that his area of expertise was in foreign policy. If thats the case why does this man think that he can have troops go from Iraq to Afghanistan on foot or set up security on the border of Iraq and respond to Afghanistan as needed. Last time I checked there is 780 miles of desert called Iran between those two countries. And you expect me to think he knows what he is talking about. Expert on foreign policy because he was in the military. Well he violated the Geneva code of conduct while he was in Vietnam, thats right talked mad shit about the country that he wants to be President of. And if you check his military record he was a Fuck up. Do you accuse all of the white people who are voting for Obama of voting for him because he is black. Since you are white maybe you can tell us what their reason for voting for Obama is. Maybe like us they think he is the best man for the job. So you comments and views are welcomed here but ask white Obama supporters the same questions you ask us because we are not the only vote’s that he is getting. Holla Back with that info for me. Thanks in advance.
September 5, 2008 at 4:00 am
I can’t believe i stayed up to watch that speech. They painted McCain out to be this heroic prince of battle. It seems as though they are drawing on the sympathies of American voters with all of this POW stuff. Just becasue he was a prisoner of war doesn’t mean he has what it takes to lead this country out of the terrible swamp George Bush put us in.
September 5, 2008 at 4:12 am
@ 2020VIZN
My comment was directed at Rocksee who laid out a very sappy “you don’t know what it’s like to be black” argument that really was neither here or there. I phrased that wrong by using the words “you guys”. My mistake
Re: your other points
you just choose to play the race card and ramble on about stuff I’m not talking about. Where did I say McCain is an expert on foreign polciy?
He talked mad shit about the country he wants to be president of? Really?
“but ask white Obama supporters the same questions you ask us because we are not the only vote’s that he is getting”
Really why must the race card always be brought up here in this thread. I’m white, you’re black. Hooray! Who gives a shit. What questions am I asking you guys? Really all I’m doing is voicing an opinion and letting you know about the other side of the election. What the hell does race have to do with it?
Seriously.
September 5, 2008 at 4:18 am
@ 2020VIZN
You haven’t contributed anything to this conversation except accusing me of voting republican because the dem candidate is black. That’s just lame sir.
Let me know why you’re voting for Obama? Is Obama the be all and end all? Do you know what faults he has and more importantly can you admit that he does have faults.
I’ve look at both camps objectively and critcize them both regarding stuff I don’t like. Can you do the sane?
Why don’t you like McCain/Palin? Why do you like Obama/Biden? Share something relevant.
September 5, 2008 at 4:19 am
I have never left a comment before. Just wanted to say to 2020VIZN i read the site every day (well almost) and read most of the comments and you along with a few others continuously drop knowledge. That’s a good thing.
September 5, 2008 at 4:23 am
jan refer to comment 59,”you said” You guys are accusing me of being racist yet it seems the only reason you’re voting for Obama is because of his race.
voice your opinion, cause it is your opinion!
September 5, 2008 at 4:23 am
Hi Jan, I can share something relevant as to why I won’t vote for McCain. He voted with George Bush %90 of the time since he has been President. He has millions of dollars and there fore i really believe he is not at all concerned with the working class. George Bush spewed the same nonsense while running and look where it got us. Birds of a feather flock together. Of course he’s distancing himself from Bush now in order to attract the millions of Americans that haven’t been living under a rock and are aware of how bad a job Bush has done while in office. Those are my reasons why i won’t vote for McCain besides Im a democrat lol.
September 5, 2008 at 4:29 am
@Jan, can you answer the same questions you are asking? Tell us why McCain/Palin? Clarify the Faults, are you talking about his personal faults? or professional mistakes? If so Sen Obama has already stated he is not perfect, and no one is making him out to be. You sir came on and found our decision to support Sen Obama to be void of any real intellegence. So why don’t you tell us what makes McCain the person most qualified to sit in the oval office and run this country?
September 5, 2008 at 4:29 am
@ yea i said it
Yes I phrased that wrong and I already mentioned that in post #66
@ Lena
See that’s a valid arguement. The voting with Bush is something that will sway many voters. Re: the millions of dollars McCain has. Well Obama ain’t doing that shabby himself money wise
September 5, 2008 at 4:36 am
I know Barack isn’t rolling in the dough like McCain is lol. McCain’s money is real long. Sort of like the Bushes.
September 5, 2008 at 4:45 am
@ Yea I Said It
I like McCain and the way he comes across. I trust both McCain and Palin more than I do the democratic ticket. I find McCain to be a safe pick for president and someone that won’t leave the country with broken promises and shattered hope…..and yet another generation disenchanted with politics.
So yeah, like some people in this thread I’m voting for the lesser of two evils….in my opinion. Here’s why……
I do not like the way Obama comes across. I don’t like the hype machine that is behind him. Hype never lives up to expectations.
I don’t like the way he pretends not to be a politician, that he’s different. Yet he has shown in the past to be VERY politcally cunning.
I don’t belive that Obama can do what says he will do.
He can not and will not make America energy independant. You know why? Because if these strategies get rolling, OPEC will see to it that oil prices go down. In turn, the energy crisis will be behind us and put on the backburner. Oil goes in cycles too my friends.
He says he will build an army of teachers? Really? So he will take over control from local municipalities?
Taxes and foreign policy, I already touched on prior.
September 5, 2008 at 4:55 am
More re: McCain
I do like the fact that he has not exactly pandered to the religious right wing in the past. That was one of the main reasons why he lost the primary’s in 2000 to Bush. He is doing it more so now but his true character is more laid back in that aspect of things.
I never liked prior republican candidates because of this religion thing. McCain appeases that for me even though Palin is much more right wing.
Re: Obama
Listen, the guy is good at what he does. He is very very smart and has positioned himself quite well. He could very well be the next president. But to me he just comes off fake and trite.
September 5, 2008 at 4:56 am
And Biden comes off even worse to me.
Plus Biden’s speeches are almost as boring as McCain’s….lol.
September 5, 2008 at 6:45 am
Look Jan, I didnt say that you said that McCain was a Expert on foriegn policy. I said that McCain claims that about himself. And the only person playing up race is you, Patna. If you put your listening eyes on. You will see that I am only saying that WE FEEL THAT OBAMA IS THE BEST PERSON FOR THE JOB. YOU KEEP TRYING TO MAKE IT SEEM AS IF WE ARE VOTING ACCORDING TO RACE. LAST POINT IS THIS, MORE THAN JUST BLACK PEOPLE ARE VOTING FOR OBAMA. CASE AND POINT BEING THAT THERE ARE MORE THAN JUST BLACK PEOPLE WHO THINK THAT OBAMA IS THE BEST PERSON FOR THE JOB. MY QUESTION TO YOU IS WHY DO YOU THINK BLACK PEOPLE BACK OBAMA BECAUSE OF RACE WHEN THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT BLACK THAT ARE VOTING FOR HIM. MORE THAN JUST THE BLACK PEOPLE ON MO (MEDIA OUTRAGE) ARE VOTING FOR OBAMA. SO WHY ARE YOU ON HERE ACTING LIKE WE ARE SOME TYPE OF NOMADS THAT ARE OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE CIVIL WORLD!!!!!!
And one other thing no white man knows what it is like to be black, reguardless of what hardships you think you have been through. It something you cant fathom thats why they made a movie about it. Go rent white mand burden. You have no idea.
I have another question for you …..Jan. Since the early 1800s what is the he worse thing that you as a white man could be in America? Check this out, if you did something or someone had some dirt on you back in the day, they could use that information to get you to do things for them that you would not normaly do. Hang that info over your head and threaten you. They would tell you that if you dont do what you are told, they would ruin you, your reputation, your life, you family’s life and anyones life that associates with you. You know what that called? Its called BLACKMALE. Thats right, thats where the word comes from. You as a white male would be forced into the life of a blackmale, thus you would be BLACKMALED. The worse thing in the world according to Americans. And to this day you can still be BLACKMALED. So if you have never been BLACKMALED then dont tell Rocksee that you know what she is talking about because you don’t Patna.
September 5, 2008 at 12:36 pm
2020VIZN – wow huh? I’m bringing race up? You got to be kidding. You’re the one that couldn’t phantom why I’m voting for a republican based on my social beliefs and attributed that it must be race.
Please, if you are going to debate then at least by consistent and don’t distort the facts…hahaha
Patna? Sorry I don’t know what that means….educate me.
Re: Knowing what a black male goes through? I never claimed to have that knowledge.
For all the historical BS that happened in the past, there is no way to go back and change that. However, even the most radical person has to acknowledge that things have improved greatly since then and we are moving in the right direction.
It would be ignorant to say that racism and racial tension does not exist in America but I do believe it is headed in the right direction.
For the hardships people claim these days and blame it on their race, I would venture to guess that most of that is not due to their race but rather their own actions. Not saying it doesn’t happen but I’m saying it doesn’t happen as much as people claim.
A white cop shoots a black person. It’s automatically viewed as being racially motivated. Sometimes it may be, for sure, but when that is the automaticaly the first go to thought….well then I’m sorry but I find that wrong.
Anyway, this has veered off to a racial debate which is just silly and I really haven’t been impressed by many of the “debaters” here.
2020VIZN chose to tell me I’m voting for McCain because of Obama’s race.
Rocksee posted stuff with little substance and lots of dazzle (Hey maybe she’ll be perfect if needs another campaign director).
“yea i said it” was the only one that seemed to bring stuff to the table that related to the subject at hand. Even though I think his opinions are wrong, he was the only one of the three people that went at me here that made any sense and stuck to the subject at hand.
I’m left very unsatisfied.
Later guys.
September 5, 2008 at 12:58 pm
@ jan i know yea i said it is netural, so let me say i am a female.
September 5, 2008 at 1:00 pm
p.s I know your opinions are wrong, but once again they are your opinions.
September 5, 2008 at 2:21 pm
I am being honest…whoever wins the election does not have the power to snap their fingers and decrease the national deficit of this country, nor make oil prices decrease, decrease the employment rate, or pull the troops out of Iraq! This country is economically, socially, and strategically a complete wreck! It will take many years to undo the damage that the current administration has done to this country! So whoever we are voting for will have one hell of a job!
September 5, 2008 at 3:25 pm
@ yea i said it
Correction, you “think” my opinions are wrong.
September 5, 2008 at 3:41 pm
LOL I like this Jan character..and in my opinion, McCain is the better candidate..he’s got more experience under his belt..As Jan previously stated..Obama tends to flip flop too much..and promises this sudden “change” but really there’s no thought out plan as to how he intends to bring this new ‘change’..We don’t need BS promises!! On another note..let’s cut the “racial” crap out and try to stick to the subject at hand..Why does everything have to turn into a “black/white” thing on this site..let it go..
September 5, 2008 at 3:52 pm
@2020VIZN
Just re-read your last post and I found more stuff to comment on.
You said I bring up race?
Rocksee said I’m showing my “true color” in her first reply to me. Did I write anything about Obama’s race in my first message?
She than followed up with the “you don’t know what it’s like to be black post”. So thus, yes I do interpret that as I see it. And I see it that “Rocksee” is voting for Obama primarly based on his race. How the hell could any other intellgient person interpret her messages any other way? Both were racially motivated.
I already stated twice prior that I should have wrote “you” towards Rocksee as opposed to “You Guys” in my “you guys are only voting for Obama cause he’s black” phrase. But I did have you in my mind as well because of your attacks on me so it just came out that way.
You said prior to me saying anything about race, that I’m voting for McCain only because Obama is black since I don’t agree with the republican stances on social issues.
Whoa? now you say that “WHY ARE YOU ON HERE ACTING LIKE WE ARE SOME TYPE OF NOMADS THAT ARE OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE CIVIL WORLD”
Really? I did that…I attacked all the people on Media Outrage by sharing my views on why I think Obama is not all he says he is and I don’t trust him.
So in your world I can not have a negative opinion on a black person and automatically I am labelled as racist?
You just further illustrate my point about how everyone in this country is too damn sensitive. America’s population has turned into a bunch of pussies.
But then again what else should I expect from someone that wants to blame a mortgage broker for selling someone a home they couldn’t afford and thus doesn’t view self-accountability and self-education as an important personality trait.
September 5, 2008 at 3:59 pm
@2020VIZN
more on post #47
You wrote: “lenders are the financial experts and when we open up our financial portfolio and say that I want to buy a home and these people dont tell you that you might not be able to afford this house and advise you on what you should do acording to my income but instead puts me in that home just to make them a buck then they should be considered criminals, because thats greed and greed always destroys. ”
Greed always destroys….not true but I digress.
However, how is that person that’s buying a home out of their price range not accountable for his actions? Who the hell buys a home based on what someone else tells them? Do you trust car dealers? Do you trust what any salesman tells you? Why on earth is a mortgage broker to be trusted more than a freakin’ car salesman? They are all the same.
For someone that claims to be upset with the establisment, why on earth would you not do your own research and make up your own opinion on whether you can afford a home or not.
September 5, 2008 at 4:07 pm
And lastly….these polticians pander to people that feel cheated and abused by the system.
Both parties do that to sickening levels. Furthering the pussyfication of America.
It’s like they try to make it seem like they will be your mommy and make everything alright.
But just like your mommmy telling you these lies, as we grow up we learn that everything is not going to be alright all the time. This ain’t a Disney movie.
September 5, 2008 at 4:43 pm
When Ronald Regan ran for office, he was only known for movies, not experience in Washington. He was elected President. Americans gave him a chance. Sen McCain comes with experience, and yet with all his years of experience if he were elected we would still have a repeat of whats in the white house now. Experience does not make the better president. Enter Sen Obama his experience at stealing and lying to the American People make him the best Candidate for President.I would rather have Sen Obama who runs on change than Sen McCain who is running on his war experience. YEA YEA YEA,however after the war what else is new. His judgement is Palin?? come on Jan do yourself a favor and reserch your Candidate a little deeper and don’t give me that crap he the lesser of the two evils. (post 74. And you think McCain does not have a hype machine? this is my last post on this subject. Jan you have a great day.
September 5, 2008 at 4:47 pm
sorry insert> His exprperience at not stealing and lying to the American People makes him the best Candidate for President. Yes before you say it Jan, i stand by my comments. I could go on and on however you would have to buy me lunch and me you dinner. I do have classes and a job. So that won’t be possible. If you want to leave your email i will email you and we can debate day by day on all issues……
September 5, 2008 at 4:51 pm
@ yea i said it
I have not used the word experience in ANY previous message. Why is this even brought up towards me?
Why don’t you like Palin? Is it because it’s the “cool” media topic to bash her? Give me a break. I told you why I don’t like Obama.
And regarding the media hype machine…you can’t even compare the two candiates. If you tune out Fox News which is a beyond retarded channel, Obama is the “charsmatic star”…..McCain is boring.
Both of which are true by the way.
September 5, 2008 at 5:02 pm
@ Jan i never said you used the term. I used it in my reason for why i could not vote for the man, and i have nothing against Palin, Anytime you put yourself on the world stage to run for the highest office of the land, don’t do it being coached by background Bush/McCain staff in what to say. And don’t make yourself unavailable to the media for more questions on where you stand. Palin as we speak is in Politics 101. to play catch up on foreign policy, and the economy. He had better chooses to chose from…. Once again Good BYE JAN!!!
September 5, 2008 at 5:09 pm
@ Yea I Said It
once again you don’t give me any examples of why you’re voting for Obama. Check that, your voting for him based on his “change” campaign that is NOT POSSIBLE!!! It is a freakin’ fairytale being spoon fed to an audience that craves it.
Say what you want about the Palin pick but right now it looks genius. Her speech was PERFECT for what she had to do and say. JUST PERFECT.
And regarding coaching? Are you serious? Do you think that it dosen’t go on with every freakin’ politcian in history? Come on now. Hell, you actaully think Obama writes his own speeches and doesn’t get advised on what to do or what to say?
Good God.
September 6, 2008 at 3:39 am
@ 2020VIZN —
Thanks for holdin’ it down, while I was away.

@ Media Outrage
Thanks for the complement but I must question your assertion that 2020 is holding it down….because to me he is not. “yea i said it” on the other hand is doing a much better job. All in the eye of the beholder I guess.
September 6, 2008 at 3:42 pm

Oh…I’m sorry…or do you prefer Sucka’?
My oh My…
Haven’t we been busy, since I’ve been been away.
Did you miss me?
Looks like you did…
…and looks like you cheated on me too.
How dare you devote all your intellectual rhetoric to the likes of another blogger…
Especially that of a man…
I would have thought you would have stuck to bullying women.
Hmm…
Well like you also got a dose of your own medicine with a shot in the Azz.
I like the way you took it though…hard…long… and strong…with a smirk on your face I see…
If I didn’t know better, I’d think you kinda’ liked it…
Now I’ve got a smirk on mine.
(Fade theme music.)
10 Lessons to Come…
Stay tuned.
Now if YOU will excuse ME, I was given a dish of some mystery concoction…
Know anything about it?
I’ll get back to you on it.
September 6, 2008 at 11:59 pm
@ Rocksee
Bravo.
You’ve set a new record….
Most words typed while failing to come up with anything intelligent or on point.
Congrats…..
I’m bullying women too now huh?….plus I’m racist according to a few of you…..
Gosh….all because I took an unpopular position on this here board.
Guess when you don’t have anything intelligent to say, you have to razzle and dazzle…..Hell even Obama’s razzle and dazzle has some substance behind it.
You however, have none.
“10 Lessons to Come…”

OK ENOUGH COMMENTING IN THIS POST
September 7, 2008 at 3:36 am
I just want this person to quit telling untruths. This person keeps saying that they are being called a racist. I dont remember anyone calling this person a racist. I can remember some questions as to wether this person’s reason for voting Republican after expressing their dislikes for Republicans was because the DNC rep was black, but never an accusation of being racist. I think its a legitimate question. Everyother comment that this person posts, this person falsely accuses someone of calling them a racist. I Will give this person credit for standing in and fighting for McCain and Palin, and giving some info in the process, I say god on them and fight on. But they need not accuse anyone of racial bias. They tried to stand up and say that they can relate to some hardships that black Americans go through, but totaly missed the point that they were being poked with. Rocksee asked if they had ever been told that they were worthless and would not amount to anything, and their reply was “white kids are told everyday by worthless parents that they are worthless. Well, she didnt tell me but Im sure Rocksee was talking about black men and women being told by America verbaly and subliminaly that they were worthless. Black kids might get told it at home but they are also told by, T.V. some teachers, the local beat cop and by brainwahsed old black people that have endured nothing accept pain since the day that they were born, you know those black people that hate being black because its been hard for them. This person keeps using the race card and saying that everyone else is using it. Yes, some people do use the race card but dont tell me that everytime someone says something that its baseless. I hate when people dont hear wahts being said and automaticaly say ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh they are playing the race card!!!!!! Some things are just true, some people, organizations and comments are racist. I mean anytime a black person opens their mouth, you hear….. race card, race card!!! Barrack Obama has been accused of using the race card because he said that he looks different from all the other Presients. Can I put on some black black socks and not be accused of playing the race card? The fact of the matter is, America has its issues. I have been to 16 different countries and the only place I have been refused service or called a N!&&er to my face is in my home country, the USA.
This is not 1850 or even 1950. If someone feels like something is not right then they have the right to say something about it. Racism still exists, but no one should be made to feel like a crimnal or that they are doing something wrong because they recognize and speak on it. Even white people have said that they have missed out on opporatunities and are looked over in some instances because they are white, never heard them accused of using the “race card”. I am old enough to know that no matter what you do or say someone will come along and try to make you seem crazy. Why are we crazy for wanting change? Why are we stupid for thinking that change will come? I dont like the fact that this person says that nothing will change. I guess we should go with McCain and sit comfortably where we are today. The fact of the matter is, some people dont want things to change and if thats the case dont try to make me feel like a retard because I believe that there can be change and it can start with Sen Obama. If I take the stand that this person has and says nothing will change and sit on my hands then I will be slapping MLK, Malcolm X, John Kennedy, Abe Lincoln and every other person that died in the fight for change. Change scares people and serious advocates for serious change are never welcomed.

@ Jan
You are a Hot Mess!
You have joined a blog site where EVERYBODY talks a lot about NOTHING. We just chill and have fun and raise hell here! All of us…including me.
Dude… lighten up and have some fun already.
Look Boo…
I actually like your style.
Aside from the argument…(that you’re afraid to lose by the way…) Pleeeeease…don’t be offended…you’re so sensitive!!!
You’ve actually been embraced by a group, that in the past has pummeled anyone that had more than 5 lines to write about anything!!
You and I actually have more in common than you think. Aside from the fact, that I find your posts long…defensive…biased….arrogant insecure…fragmented and boring, I read every word and I’m learning more from you in two days than learned from various blogs over the past couple of months. You’re a good writer and a great defender. Props to you.
A few little secrets…
Obama was not my first choice…he won my vote…just like McCain won yours.
Another little secret…I MINGLE WITH REPBULICANS OFTEN…and my best friend would take a bullet for your boy “Droopy” in a heartbeat…(that’s what they’re calling him these days.)…
The final secret…I used to get blasted on this site too for doing the same thing you’re doing… writing way too much…being too opinionated…and ruffling too many feathers.
The value that you bring to this site, will be highly appreciated…especially as we approach the election. I truly hope you hang around.
Seems to me that many of the bloggers got it…this has been the best blog yet!! That’s why folks were on fire. We’re growing as a community.
@Udamnright –
As many times as we have tolerated…laughed with….ignored…shook our heads…at all the stuff you’ve been responsible for…you’ve got to be kidding trying to shut this down.
That’s MO’s job…
@DT —
The same goes for you Boo…you know I love you…but do you see me trying to shut down your “Porn Machine” when you get rolling?
No…I let you “get off” and do your thing.
I support free speech.
When Jan stops responding I’ll stop writing.
Look I’m not done here and if you don’t want to hear what needs to be said, then move on to one of the next “provocative” blogs…
You know…
…the ones about disrespecting women…
… hatin’ on people ’cause they’ve solidified their financial futures…
…criticizing people ’cause of they way they look…
…who’s screwing who…and so on.
I’ll join you there…
…in full spirit…
…when I’m ready.
Until then…goodnight.

@ 2002VIZN
you wrote “I can remember some questions as to wether this person’s reason for voting Republican after expressing their dislikes for Republicans was because the DNC rep was
black, but never an accusation of being racist.”
Umm so let me get this straight…..you questioned why I’m voting for Obamna because I do not like the Republicans…….you assumed that was because of the race of Obama. That
is not the same as telling me that you think I’m racist? Really?
Also, you have some things wrong as usual. I never said I dislike the Republicans. I said I do not agree with them on their social issues which is only part of the bigger
picture. There is more to this world than just social issues.
You chose to take the fact that I don’t like religion and have a more liberal view things to automatically assume that I cannot like the republican party.
you wrote “They tried to stand up and say that they can relate to some hardships that black Americans go through”
really I did that? WHEN THE F*&K DID I DO THAT???
you wrote “Im sure Rocksee was talking about black men and women being told by America verbaly and subliminaly that they were worthless.”
Again, boo hoo. A black person is running for president. Many of the highest paid entertainers/athletes are black. There are successful black people doing big things on things
ranging from business and social causes. Things don’t always come back to race guys. They really don’t.
When a black person gets pulled over by a white cop, do you automatically assume that it is because of his race? Come on now….maybe he was driving stupid and drunk. Just like
white folk do. Who also get pulled over by the way.
While it is true that the prison population is made up of minorities, much of that has to do with the poverty level more so than the color of ones skin.
I understand why someone would sell drugs, I understand why someone would go for the quick buck. Especially when things seem hopeless and you’re living day to day. I don’t blame
anybody for acting out if they feel they’ve been wronged.
But this attitude where people play the victims or are told by their community that they are victims just breeds the continuation of this vicous circle.
Instead of preaching to your kids how hard it is to be black person and how wronged you are by America. Why not show them the examples of black leaders who did come from nothing and became succesful. Instead of preaching negativity and self-doubt and resentment…..preach positivity.
you wrote “Some things are just true, some people, organizations and comments are racist.”
I agree.
you wrote “Barrack Obama has been accused of using the race card because he said that he looks different from all the other Presients.”
I don’t think he has played the race card myself. Yet, you did when you questioned that I’m voting for the republicans because the democratic candidate is black.
you wrote “Racism still exists, but no one should be made to feel like a crimnal or that they are doing something wrong because they recognize and speak on it. ”
I totally agree, I just believe that a lot of what is spoken on being racist is not racism. You can’t tell me that people like Jesee Jackson and Al Sharpton don’t use the race card to get publicity for further their own personal agenda.
you wrote “Even white people have said that they have missed out on opporatunities and are looked over in some instances because they are white, never heard them accused of using the “race card”
Oh for sure and I would be the first to say they are playing the race card if I saw that happen. The thing is that the media doesn’t hype that aspect of race relations so it doesn’t get into the public eye. It’s a much more safe story for the media to run the black race card than the white race card. Again, that just goes to show you how retarded it is listening to the media.
you wrote “I am old enough to know that no matter what you do or say someone will come along and try to make you seem crazy.”
Totally agree….based on this thread, I’m sure many are calling me crazy…..lol
you wrote “Why are we crazy for wanting change? Why are we stupid for thinking that change will come?”
You may want change but it may not be the change you are being spoon fed and promised. Listen, I don’t trust politcians as a general rule. Hell, I don’t trust people as a general rule.
All I can go by is by the way that a person has lived his life and by his actions.
I always tell me kids, “anybody can use words to say anything but you can only judge their character by their actions.”
McCain’s character has, for myself personally, proven to be of a greater character than Obama. At the end of the day that’s what I’ll be voting on.
you wrote ‘I believe that there can be change and it can start with Sen Obama.”
And you know what…..I hope you are right. I really do. But nothing that I’ve learned leads me to believe that that will be the case. In four years, if I’m wrong. I’ll be the first to admit it. I’ll come here, find you and say “you were right”. Pinky swear!
you wrote “If I take the stand that this person has and says nothing will change and sit on my hands then I will be slapping MLK, Malcolm X, John Kennedy, Abe Lincoln and every other person that died in the fight for change. Change scares people and serious advocates for serious change are never welcomed.”
I’m sorry but this post makes it seem like anybody who campaigns on the basis of “change” will automatically get your vote.
And, I’m sorry I cannot phantom how Obama can be even be mentioned in the same breath as them (Well alright I’ll give you John Kennedy)..but let me touch on another one….
Malcolm X was not a politican and never shy’d away from speaking his mind. He was set in stone in his beliefs and his morals and did not need razzle and dazze to get his message across. He even denounced the Nation of Islam because of the hypocrises he belived he saw. He put his ass on the line. And sir…Barack Obama is no Malcolm X.
Good post though this time around…..you brought it!
September 7, 2008 at 2:53 pm
@Rocksee
lol, I didn’t read your post till I finished replying to 2020.
In the back of my mind, I had this thought “judging by the length of her post she probably brought something that I’ll have to argue”
I was quite relived when I read your message because I won’t have to spit out another long ass post…..lol
Even the little jabs were outweighted by the positivty leaving me with nothing to argue about…..leaving me kinds of sad
September 7, 2008 at 2:54 pm
@ Rocksee: Rocksee I didn’t try and shut this post down. All i said was that well infact read what I said…
“LMAO!!! oh shit Jan that was funny as hell. yall leave this man alone man just cause he’s for McCain. We all have our opinions and he’s entitled to his.
I read a lot of these comments (too many for my eyes) and Jan seems to be kicking ass up in here lol. I don’t know too much about politics, only that Im voting for Barack and would still be voting for him even if he was in a wheel chair and couldn’t talk. lol”
I said Jan’s comments made me laugh and that he was winning the debate. I also said for people to leave him alone just because he was voting for McCain. I could care less if yall trade barbs until they elect one of them. do what ya do
September 7, 2008 at 4:23 pm
@ Jan: Well sir, evreything I asked you was to pick your brain as to why you dont trust Obama. You gave your answers and wether you believe it or not I appreciate what you have brought to the table. For all its worth, I want you to know that I dont think you are a racist. We all have opinions and we all have certain things that are dear to us. This is what makes the world go round. If everyone thought the same thing and felt the same way we would not need elections nor would we have a GOP and a DNC. I feel that you are very intelligent and well versed in American politics and I respect that. But I still feel that lenders should be held accountable if they put someone in a home and a no win situation. I just believe in integrity, So if you fell that I am a pussy for that then so be it. I will always feel that greed destroys because it always has negative results for more than just that person who is driven by greed. Eveyone is not versed in the same areas, therefor I dont think that ignorance shoud br prayed on, just my take on it, I would never feel comfortabe screwing over innocent people with a dream, I dont think its fair and those people should be protected. The regulars here on MO are a great bunch and Im sure that no one has ill feelings towards anyone with a difference in opinion. We have fun with eachother expressing our fellings and views on the posts here. When we dont agree, we dont attack eachother and say that our opinion is anymore valuable or legitimate than the next persons, and we dont have hard feelings, I know that I don’t. But I have no hard feelings and I respect you and your opinion. So I say to you Rock on patna!

It’s all good and it’s all in love…
For the first moment of your first blog, I knew you had ka-hoo-nas. I needed to put them to the test…
True confession…
I finally felt I had met my match in you, although I knew we had different personalities.
I’m a little bit PINK…I’m a little bit BARBIE…and a little bit JOVI GURL… Super – Duper bright with a constant need for creative outlets…an old-fashioned nerd, that fits in by matte-ing. (Sniglet)
Harmless…yet fiesty like a toy poodle.
If ya’ met me…you’d have even a more completely different take.
I chameleonize…
I hope you except this heartfelt apology for being such a hot pants.
All in all, I’m so glad you’re here…
Can’t wait to get more views on that Palin troll…
Personally I think she’s gonna give the Dems a run for the money.
My first question is WTF? Who is the woman and what trough does she feed from?
Clarification please.
Hey…
As the prolific Rodney King once lamented, “Can’t we all just get along?”
I certainly hope so…it was good for me too, but I think I’d rather blogging buds, than bitchy bloggers.
Just in case the blogging community tells us to “get a room” you may email me at:
rocksee2008@yahoo.com
I’ve got political propaganda coming out the Wah-zhoo. Need somebody to share it with.
Do I hear a truce?

You can’t judge a book by it’s cover…”

Truce accepted!
