Oprah is in Obama’s corner so why would she allow anyone from the opposing party that’s running against Barack to use her platform to attract more supporters? Exactly it doesn’t make sense and that’s why it’s not going to happen until after the election is over. So just like Hillary Clinton wasn’t allowed to step her lying ass on that prestigious couch to woo women voters, Sarah Palin will not be allowed to step her lying ass on that stage either lol.
Oprah’s statement:
“There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”
Mediaoutrage- Basically Oprah was saying “listen Sarah fall back and in November after Barack puts the same political pistol whipping on you and McCain that he did on Hillary, then you can bring your disappointed ass on my couch and lay your crying head on my big ass breastesess while i rub your hair and whisper to you ‘I told yall Barack was gonna beat dat azz like an African drum’.

Even being for McCain, I see no fault with Oprah on this one.
Why?
a) she never had Obama on the show once he declared his run.
b) she never had Biden on the show.
She may support Obama for various reasons which she has every right to but from what I read she hasn’t really pushed that on her show. Anyway, at the end of the day it is her show. She has earned the right to do what she pleases.
I’m sure she will piss of some of her viewers with this decision but at the end of the day all this story is…..once again ta da….media hype.

Interesting and very funny post. I was just on another site where a woman had written an article dissing Oprah for not allowing the most popular woman in the world right now (according to them) Sarah Palin who is the first woman to ever be nominated as VP in a presidential race to be on her show. The writer criticized Oprah for being a hypocrite. She said that O allowed Barack on her show. And I was thinking exactly (well maybe not exactly lol) what the writers of MediaOutrage wrote here.
Bottom line she is supporting Barack Obama so why would she allow her platform to be used by the competition? They need to find another platform that’s all. Maybe Ellen, or Tyra or Sean Hannity with his racist self. The writer ended by saying that’s why she doesn’t watch “that sanctimonious show” well no one cares lady because 100’s of millions of other women still do so you’re not even a drop in the bucket or a particle in the atmosphere lol.
Oprah still rocks! If she didn’t, the statement she issued regarding Palin wouldn’t have caused such a media uproar.

And as far as Oprah not allowing her on the show because she’s white, we all know that’s untrue. Oprah is one of the biggest champions when it comes to “all” people. I know we have some passionate Republicans on this board and I can respect your right to vote for who you want, but really lets be honest, do you really want 4 more years of $4 gas. I can guarantee you McCain has no problem putting gas in his vehicles….notice I made that plural. I can guarantee you McCain has no problem paying the Light, Gas & Water bill at his 7 (SEVEN) homes. Some folk struggling to pay the bill at that one bedroom efficiency they got. I can guarantee you McCain doesn’t have to worry where he will get the money to put any of his children through college. I can also guarantee you that when he finally retires he doesn’t have to worry about paying for his medicine or if he will be able to go to the doctor because of a cough versus have food to eat for that week.
