Jada Pinkett-Smith visited the Late Show with David Letterman yesterday evening. Jada is still such a little cute thang. It’s hard to believe that she got her start on “A Different World” and then married one of the biggest movies stars in the world and now voila. Where do you rank Jada’s acting abilities?

Thats one styling woman. She looks mega fabulous. I think she acts alright. She is no Will. She can’t just play any role and be believeable like her husband. Although I haven’t seen her in anything since the 3rd Matrix.

She’s a class act and is doing great things (opening schools & whatnot). I think being the wife of the biggest movie star affords her to be selective with her roles and she doesn’t have to jump at the first or even the last thing that’s thrown at her. I really want to see how big her part will be in this new movie “The Women”… that’ll be a tell-tell sign if she still has it. The movie looks like a somewhat interesting story line, unfortunately pretty unoriginal though. I like the ethnic twist on it and hopefully this movie will be worth my $10.

Her acting skills are pretty good. loved the role she played in Menace II Society. shes a good actress

Acting skills are cool.. She does enough to get the part and fullfill the role.. She hasn’t had the role of a leading woman but she plays her part like the sixth man off the bench..
Which means she’s still getting PAID.

lol@jules!! you are right, she looks like she is playing dress up. she is ok as an actress, loved her in set it off. when she reached back and grabbed that bottle on queen latifah, i was loving it. she took me back to my old days lol. loved her on different world and the clothes that lena use to wear were, “different”. but these days, she irritates me if she is not wit will. i dont even know why she just does. but i have a question, if she werent married to will, would we still remember who she is?

Yes, I do remember her on A Different World. I think she had real short hair back then. I also remember her in Set It Off.
I like her and her style. She was a pretty good actress then and even though I have not seen her act lately, I am sure she still is.
Marrying Will Smith and still with him ain’t hurting none either. Good for you Jada.
