We want to know out of the many internet technologies, which one do you feel has made the biggest impact on your online life? The four major players that come to mind when asking a question like this are, search behemoth Google, YouTube, Wikipdedia, and Myspace and a Facebook. Let us know which one has changed life the most and why it is so detrimental to the continued success of the internet. Which one do you feel has been the single most ingenious invention? If we failed to mention one that you think should be in this category then please do expound.

Good question. I say Google is the most important due to the fact that it accesses all of the rest of them. Every site in the world is dependent upon Google to store them in their search index and distribute traffic. I just read last week that Google is right now responsible for %60 of search on the internet in comparison to Yahoo, AOL, and all the other major search engines on the net. I say Google.
Wiki is ingenious also given that it allows the users to constantly update information on any and everything. Wow.
YouTube is an awesome invention also. It’s hard to imagine that 6 years ago there wasn’t a site that you could go to and watch any program you wanted to. Definitely a wonderful concept.
Myspace is also a good thing although other social networking mediums already existed, they took it to another level.

I agree with Paul on his assessment of each of the choices, especially Google.
For me what has changed me is YouTube. With the career choice I have made, YouTube is vital.

For me Google first. Wikipedia second. I have no use for Myspace, or YouTube. No offense to anyone, I don’t have a need to collect friends or watch people make a fool of themselves. i would rathe see it all in person.

I read Wikipedia all the time and youtube has great instuctional videos on how to be a better dickhead or crazy shit like that. But Google is good for getting my biz out through PPC. So I would say Google.

its been a while MO….I say YouTube is just hot. u can upload videos and it’s a repository for everything, whether it be music, interviews, fights (luv bum fights lol). Myspace is #2 for me. Just get tired of the nasty messages of “can i lick your p*ssy”

Wikipedia has been the most helpful and fact assuring site for me. It is my research site.
You Tube is ingenious love to go look up old stuff or stuff people thought they could hide.

Google by far! All I have to do is type in a few key words and anything I need to know comes up! All my girlfriends where complementin me on new hairstyle and I stunned them when I said I learned how to sew in my own weave on google! I typed in “how to sew tracks of weave in”! Lol
“Amazing!”, they all lamented!

I 100th that emotion. Google by far is the bible of the 21st century. I would however put Urbandictionary.com next as everyone talks in code or their own language (and it’s the place to go when I need a good laugh!) and I’m still a big L7 in many ways and need a translator…LOL.

I think urban dictionary is pretty kool too! I put my real name in there and the definition of my name was a scripper! I also put my girl Jacqueline name in there and hit search and it said big breasted woman! And she WAS big breasted! I guess there is something to their definitions after all! Lmao

I say YouTube. I am on that site all of the time. I mean you get to watch anything. It’s addictive. Can’t imagine the internet without it now.
