Serena lands million dollar book deal

Tennis great Serena Williams’ memoirs have been purchased for $1.3 million. She is coming out with a tell-all book about her rise to the top of tennis. The book should hit stores in 2009. A spokesperson for Grand Central Publishing had this to say:
“Serena Williams is one of the world’s most remarkable athletes. We’ve watched her rise to number one despite physical and emotional setbacks, and her hard work and determination have inspired legions of fans young and old. Serena will give her memoir a strong motivational slant.”

Im pretty pissed at this book deal! I feel it should have been a percentage of the sales! Yal know its gonna be a best seller! Serena call me, we’ll do lunch!
