Nelly pranced around showing off his boulder like biceps during his performance in Fort Lauderdale, FL yesterday. Ladies keep it real if he wasn’t a good looking chiseled specimen would you really buy his albums? Because to keep it real his music is wacker than a soulja boy and plies collabo. Discuss?

I have never bought a Nelly CD. Since I’m not a rap fan his music doesn’t appeal to me, especially that “Tip Drill” mess. He fine as all get out, but I ain’t about to give him my money.
I hope those steroids don’t make him to big and he shrinks something else.

I Dont think his music is wack. I think its the way his label presented his album. To many delays, Alot of haters out there especially with all the success his had people are now feeding into the hate & saying that his wack when his the third highest selling rapper around. LOL. In our opinion he’s an ok artist. We are really judging by lyrics. He is not a good lyricist at ALL. We consider Jay-Z, Nas, Lupe, Kanye, Cassidy, Lil’ Wayne, Ludacris, T.I., Eminem, and a few others good lyricist.
Not hate at all just our opinion and what we feel. And please let’s stop with this numbers CRAP. Plenty of wack artist go platinum. Period.

LOL @ Beach Chick. We’re just saying to everyone who keeps bringing up the fact that he’s sold millions of records ok like who cares. Ashanti has sold millions of records and that doesn’t mean that if given the choice to hold a note or take a bullet that she wouldn’t wind up in somebody’s intensive care unit. We’re judging by lyrics, beat, song concept, and stuff like that. Not just because you made a few club anthems so what. Give us a mic and Dr. Dre and we would make a few club anthems LOL.

I like Hip Hop but there has to be meaning to the music…there has to be a message, concept, or something to make us go HMMM. Nelly’s music does not do that…I think he has some funky beats but as far as spitting meaningful lyrics..NO!

@ Beach Chick, I beg to differ! Tip drill was ver meaningful to me! Also nelly verse on TI “get loose” was great! When he says, “I got 4 g’s in $5′s, 5 g’s in ones! Music to my ears! Nelly has always supported the scrippers and I love that about him. I aint a scripper no mo but I like the fact he got them ho’s back! Lol
