@ Yvonne, you won’t get any backlash from me, however i will say there are many of us that keep Sen Obama prayed up, so i don’t believe anything will happen to him once he is in office. Please don’t put that in the air. You do have a right not to vote for whatever reason. I wish you would reconsider because your vote does count in a close election all votes count. I means you have a right to hold the next president accountable for his failures.If you have a job you are a tax payer and as a tax payer you pay the presidents salary and he works for you. Now whether you get involued in the progress of checks and balances for the next president is on you. Please take time and think about it again.

I will probably get a lot of backlash from this post but I have got to be honest with my fellow posters as I am with myself.

I AM BLACK AND I AM NOT VOTING IN THIS ELECTION.

And don’t come out saying my vote counts, because in reality it does not.

If I was to vote it would be for Barack Obama because I really think he wants to improve the conditions in this country for ALL.

It is sad to say, but conditions in this country WILL NOT CHANGE THAT MUCH, no matter who is in charge.

The President DOES NOT HAVE ABSOLUTE power and if the House or Senate wants to veto a bill that the President wants to pass it will be a moot point.

If Barack Obama was elected to be the President, IMO, it will always be people in government who will dislike him just because he is black, not on his views, and will fight him all the way to keep him down.

One more thing, and I pray this will never happen, is that there are so many loonies out there who are prejudiced I also fear that his life will constantly be in danger of people trying to assinate him.

If they did it with JFK and tried it with Ronald Regan and these men were white, then you know what it will be like for Barack Obama.

I don’t care what anybody says, this world is not getting better it is getting worse.
