Mr. Pork Chop Grease Lips himself, aka Neyo was looking quite debonair at the US Weekly’s 2008 Hot Hollywood Issue Celebration last night in NYC. Are you diggin’ Neyo’s style? Jaslene Gonzalez really needs to jump on whatever food plan Queen Latifah endorses. Patti LaBelle and actress Monique Coleman were also in the building.

PCGL does look debonair, excuse my ignorance but who is Monique Coleman? What has she played in/on? Jaslene is a very frail looking girl I know that models ideally are thin but she looks sickly thin. Just my opionion.

By Hollywood’s standard she is kickin major a$$… playing a high school student, who in real life claims to be 27, when she is probably more like 32.
Ya’ll…I’m telling you…an actor’s dream is to land on of these Disney / Nick hits, because the contracts are sooooo lucrative. They set people for life almost overnight!!
Props to Monique – she’s keeping low key…keeping herself together…keeping away from the stalker-azzi…and keeping that muti-gazillion dollar contract!!!
Oh Laaaawd…let Disney / Nick pick me!!

Rocksee I agree with you on Monique. She is doing her thing. Disney and Nick are both good avenues for struggling actors. Its another place that black actors have a chance to get out there. I can appreciate that you never hear anything bad about this young woman.
Y’all know I love me some Ne-Yo.
Jaslene needs a McDonald franchise all to herself.

High School Music is soo irritating?! I can’t stand those movies..it is so unrealistic and ignorant! I rather watch Sesame Street!

This is what I’m thinking…Peep game. I need y’all to create a category called “she looka like a man” headlining the category of course is Wendy “fuglier than fuck” Williams, aka “anti-erection in a glance” will be the posterchild followed by Serena Williams without weave and in certain lining, a backview of Ramon Samone in a dress, etc, etc. Just a thought though.

Monique may have worked her last gig…she may not need to work again.
Don’t be fooled by the fluffy, Disney exterior…I’m telling you this is where you wan to be…if you’re one of the few, lucky, chosen ones.
Established actors don’t mind the hook up with Disney, Nick and Pixar…think about the voice-over market.
Struggling actors are classified by the roles they play, not by the networks. It’s all about whether or not you are a Primary, Secondary, Stunt, or Extra Player. You’d be shocked by how many folks with weekly shows on WB & UPN are getting paid FAR LESS than Monique.
Last point…remember the Granny from “The Amazing Jett Jackson” on Nick? At 70-something, she made more in one contract year, than she made in her entire career as a teacher. She was a no name, Secondary Player…
