A.I. gets traded
Posted by Media Outrage on November 4th, 2008
Allen Iverson was traded yesterday, from the Denver Nuggets to the Detroit Pistons. The trade sent Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyss to the Nuggets for A.I.. This the second time in Iverson’s career that he has been traded. Many have wondered what the reason for the shift was. We might have an answer for you. Click Here. For you basketball fans, does the trade help or hurt Detroit?

I love A.I. I still have his Jersey from his days in Philly and his autograph when I met him in VA! Well I am glad I didn’t get a Nuggets jersey..I hope it works out for him..he needs a championship ring almost as bad as the Wizards need a superbowl ring!

A.I. will bring a mental and physical tenacity to the pistons that they’ve lacked. I personally can’t say if it will help or hurt them. A.I. needed a big man who was able to score at will in Philly, but they were unable to accommodate him. He’ll have that in Detroit with Rasheed. However, his addition might upset the team chemistry. I’m telling people now don’t be surprised if you see A.I. back in Philly next season. He would have all the necessary ingredients to get the sixers back to title contenders. Elton on the block, Dre Miller running the point and him as the two, sheesh! Remember A.I. only have one year left on his chunky contract then he can go. I really want to see that dude back in Philly. Sixer’s games haven’t been the same since he left.

I think personally it’ll hurt because the Piston’s because Chauncey was one of the high score players on the team. His three points were ridic and mainly the reasons why we made it to the playoffs. I don’t know how I feel about Mcdyess because he was getting up there but I hate seeing the two leave.

A.I. is the truth. Is he a gunner? Fo shizzle my nizzle. I think he will bring excitement to Detroit. But if Dumars whole thing is to get Lebron then I guess good move. We shall see.

Kristina trust me you’ll get Chauncey’s avg. and much more with A.I. He can go into any arena on any night and give you 50! But there lies the the problem, he might alter the team chemistry. Scoring will not be an issue in Detroit though.

I really hope it does help us. I didnt know they traded McDyess too. I love AI he’s from the 7 cities. Bethel boy, that’s why he’s so cute. Last time my high school BB team went to regionals we played them. They tore us up…..
But now what are we pistons fans going to chant now???? Whats going to replace B….B….Billups???? Been thinking about that…

Oh Claudette you in Detroit? that’s whats good. A.I. was my favorite player while he was on the Sixers. No one can deny the dude is a warrior. I’ve seen dude in person and and he’s a good 6ft. I think it will make Detroit better.

Kobe is still the best player in the league. A.I. and detroit are not winning the title. doubt they will be able to beat boston.

oh Yasmine you get down with sports?
Kobe may be a cry baby but you can’t deny his b-ball skills. Did you like Jordan? Cause if you did then you gotta like Kobe. Can you name a better player in the league?

Yes I watch basketball all of the time. I used to like Tracy McGrady but he doesn’t play all that well to me anymore. I was in LOVE with PENNY HARDAWAY! He was so cute to me lol. I think Lebron is just as good as Kobe.

Yas, no no no, Lebron is a freak of nature but not yet on Kobe’s level. Lebron is right on his heels but needs a better jump shot, free throws, and defense. IF Lebron ever gets a good supporting cast around him, he’ll definitely win a few titles. Maybe even more than Jordan.

@ JJ Evans-
Kobe is definitely the best player in the league right now, but as you said bron is on his heels hard. I think bron does more things on the court that affect the overall outcome of the game, night in and night out. Kobe plays better defense. Bron is a way better passer. Bron more athletic. Kobe better shooter. But I think Bron is more talented than Kobe. If Bron had Kobe’s team they would have won 75 games lol.

Hovy u not going to get an argument out of me on those grounds. I agree with you on Lebron’s versatility. I don’t know if Lebron would have been able to get the job done with kobe’s team. Boston was tough. Lebron is the future, but Kobe is NOW. Best player since Michael Jordan, point blank.

@ JJ
“Boston was tough. Lebron is the future, but Kobe is NOW. Best player since Michael Jordan, point blank.” Are you saying Kobe’s better than Magic and Bird?
