Oprah: I Believed From The Very Beginning That He Was The One
Posted by Media Outrage on November 5th, 2008
Oprah Winfrey called into Power 105.1 this morning during the Ed Lover show, and had some very interesting things to say about this very pivotal election. You can listen for yourself below….
“If I had not come out for Barack Obama when I did, I knew that I would have lost a piece of my soul. So I’m glad I did what I did. It’s been hard for me to keep my mouth shut on the show. But I’m unleashed tomorrow.”
On the reaction of some white folks on Oprah not allowing Sarah Palin on her show a month ago….
“I mean I got some hate calls, listen our switch board needed therapy. They had never been called the “N” word so many times. It was bad, it was really bad. Really go back to Africa kind of bad. We’re going to lynch you kind of bad. It was terrible.”

Fake ass supporters will always turn their back on you when the mood hits them. She knows who her real supporters are. A real person will still support u even when they may disagree wit some of the things u do! Go O!

Well, that’s just concrete evidence that racism is alive and kicking in this country. People pretend that racism is a thing of the past, but anyone with a brain knows better. Pastor Jeremiah Wright went through a major character assassination attempt just for telling the truth. For anyone who disagree with me just watch his unedited sermons on youtube. It’s cool though, I have just four words for all the haters. Obama “YES WE DID”!

ok, I am so happy as a Canadian that Barak has won…….but! How the heck could race be such an issue on CNN. This seems to be such an amazing feat………why???? We are all humans, Barak was the best choice to correct the deficit affecting both contries…..why the issue???? Is it becuase I am Canadian that I do not get the race benefit????
I am not naive that race plays into alot of our business and life experiences but have we not overcome most of those issues to the degree
that CNN plays them to be, maybe I am the naive one! Hail Barak!!!!! Hope the hell I have spelled his name correctly!!!!

There are more contries in the world who have elected a non white representative, why do we make this such a big deal. The spotlight on race highlights the difference ten fold!!!!!

Donna Hagge, you obviously don’t know your American History or you wouldn’t ask such a ridiculous question. Maybe you’ve never heard of the 400 years of African slavery in America? Or the hundreds of thousands of black Americans that were lynched? The millions that were not allowed to learn to read? How we were not permitted to vote? The civil rights movement? How the racist people and government of this country killed our many leaders? If you had known this history then you would surely understand why this is such a monumental event in African American history. Yes you are very naive.

There are soo many individuals that are unaware of the humiliation that African Americans suffered in this country. We were treated with disrespect and degraded as second class citizens of this country. This country that our ancestors helped to build with blood, sweat and tears..my great great grandmother was forced to bear over 15 mulatto slaves with her Caucasian master! Last night I was filled with joy as I remembered my family history and the pain and agony that my ancestors endured and I was grateful that God allowed me to see this historic moment!
