President Barack Obama
Posted by Media Outrage on November 5th, 2008
The Chicago Sun-Times displayed this cover today, in honor of President-Elect Barack Obama. President Obama has come so far in such a short amount of time. You the voters expended so much energy and rallied around this man to bring change to America. Yes, we know he has a real tough job ahead of him, but he definitely looks up for the task. You the voters should be so so so proud of yourselves for making your voice heard. And believe it, the Republicans heard you loud and clear. We look forward to 8 years of new direction under President Barack Obama’s leadership. YES WE DID!!!!

The really hard work is ahead. We as a people must now get behind this man as never before. As he said in his speech, there will be decisions made that everyone won’t agree with, but we must trust his leadership and get behind him. Its going to take much more than an election to get things right all over this country. He has work to do and we have to help him as much as possible. It took President Bill Clinton a full term to turn things around. Even to that he had to shut the country down. There is much to be done.

I am happy that it is over too and just so proud of Mr. Barack Obama because he really stood his ground gracefully throughout all of the attacks against his race, his religion, and even his name. He is truly amazing and will get America back on its feet!
THANK GOD!

Yesterday was the dawn of a new beginning. Barack Obama is the best candidate on the planet right now to bring change to this country. I hope my brothers and sisters can come realize that this man has overcome extraordinary odds of racism and criticism from the southern right wing to the leader of the free world.
Please, I hope and pray my people weren’t out in the streets getting high and drunk in the clubs because we have to realize that MLK and Malcolm’s dreams should not die in vein.
