Kelis in true Michael Jackson fashion was paid $20,000 by concert promoters in Rio de Janeiro.
Via TMZ:
Kelis was scheduled to perform at two concert appearances in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday — but after taking a $20,000 advance, she claimed she feared for her safety.
Mediaoutrage- So shouldn’t she postpone or give the chedda back? But for real though, who’s really forking over $20,000 to see her? Oh well.
