Models Chanta Patton and Daphne Joy celebrated their Black Men Magazine cover at Area Night Club in West Hollywood on Monday. Model Shelly Rio, Cynietra, and actor Keith Robinson were also in the building. Fellas if you had to choose between Chanta and Daphne which one would you knock?

LaLa Vasquez was spotted front row during the Atlanta Hawks and Denver Nuggets game on Monday night at Philips Arena in the A, as she rooted on her man Carmelo Anthony. She posed for pictures with Atlanta radio personality Rashan Ali, who we might add has a very beautiful smile. LaLa had her son Kiyan Carmelo with her. Jeezy, Bobby Valentino, and Wayne Gandy were all in the building for the game.

The 2008 M.O. Financial Crash and Burn Award goes to none other than producer Scott Storch who himself owing a lot of people some serious chedda. He was sued for $500,000 by a business partner, child support, back taxes on his crib, and got his art ganked back by the artist because he hadn’t got paid yet. SMH. So he is definitely M.O.’s winner of the Financial Crash & Burn award but there is always a f*cking runner up…. trust and believe that and this next person was right on Storch’s heels and had there been just a few more days left in 2008 he might have won in a landslide. Eva Marcille and Lance Gross spoke to Essence about how they got engaged.

“House of Payne” star and 2008 ESSENCE Do Right Man Lance Gross gave his girlfriend, actress and model Eva Marcille, the perfect Christmas present last week—a wedding proposal.
On Wednesday, December 24, while vacationing with their families at the couple’s favorite winter getaway spot—the Big Bear ski resort in the San Bernardino Mountains outside of Los Angeles—Marcille and Gross decided to open gifts after dinner in their rented cabin. When Marcille opened her gift—a pillow with a note attached that read: “Hope you like it. Give this pillow to the man you love and he will explain.” After taking the pillow and using it as a cushion, Gross got on bended knee and popped the big question with a 3.36-carat 1895 Pave Cartier ring at 11:30 P.M. Charles Barkely was arrested earlier this morning (Wednesday) for suspicion of drunk driving.
Via Yahoo:
Charles Barkley was arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving early Wednesday morning.
An officer with a law enforcement task force that targets drunken driving saw the former NBA star run a stop sign around 1:30 a.m., said Gilbert police Lt. Eric Shuhandler.

The PoPo has been called 21 times to intervene on Gary Coleman’s behalf since moving to Utah in 2005. Damn little DMX, that’s a lot of times to have the law coming out to the crib.

Gary Coleman, who makes it no secret that he likes his privacy and wants to be left alone, chose to settle in small-town Utah — far away from the paparazzi and autograph seekers of his former life as a TV star.
But a rocky romance, a prescription pill overdose and sometimes contentious interactions with the public have brought him unwanted attention here, where public records show a pattern of Coleman involving police in his personal life.
Officers have been called to assist or intervene with Coleman 21 times since he moved to Utah in fall 2005, according to police reports — including a July 2007 call where Coleman told authorities he had taken dozens of Oxycontin pills, was suicidal and “wanted to die.” Read the rest of this entry »
