The Chicago police have arrested William Balfour behind the murders of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and nephew.

Police arrested the estranged brother-in-law of Jennifer Hudson on Monday in the deaths of the entertainer’s mother, brother and young nephew, taking him from a prison where he had been held on a suspected parole violation.

William Balfour was arrested at Stateville Correctional Center and released to detectives as he awaited formal charges in the shooting deaths of the singer and Oscar-winning actress’ relatives, said Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond. Read the rest of this entry »

Everyone in the world knows how bad Amy has it for those rocks. She could probably rebuild a modern day “Bedrock” with her little collection. But some might not be abreast of how she started f*cking with dem drugs. Here’s what her husband Blake Fielder-Civil had to say….

“I made the biggest mistake of my life by taking heroin in front of her. I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty. I dragged Amy into it and without me there is no doubt that she would never have gone down that road. I ruined something beautiful. Now I have to let her go to save her life. I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love.”

Speaking on how she almost died in front of him…

“I was there when Amy suffered her first seizure. I still break down thinking about it. We had been taking drugs all day long – heroin and crack. We started early and finished late. We didn’t really stop… and while I was getting out of my head, I wasn’t thinking that I was taking somebody with me. Then my wife… just started shaking violently in front of me. I started crying and I lay her down in the recovery position… It was heartbreaking, seeing someone you love more than yourself, someone you would die for… on the floor shaking.”

Christine Beatty pleaded guilty today to two felonies and will spend 120 days in jail for her part in the text message scandal that removed Kwame Kilpatrick as Mayor of Detroit.

Christine Beatty, once Detroit’s most powerful woman as a top aide to Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, today pleaded guilty to two felonies and will serve 120 days in jail for her role in the text-message scandal that also brought down her former boss.

Beatty, who admitted guilt to two counts of obstructing justice for lying in a police whistle-blower case, also will be on probation for five years. During that time, she will have to reimburse the City of Detroit for $100,000 if she is able. Read the rest of this entry »

When her current world tour comes to a close, on December 8th, she is expected to rake in more than $282 million. Sheesh. That’s a lot of cake. By the way her tour kicked off in August.
