It is very easy to state what you feel the problem might be or what it stems from. You know, point the finger. However, how about instead of digressing back to the early 90′s namedropping B.I.G and Pac. Let’s catch up to the 21st century and Progress by stating some possible solutions to the problem. Who dictates which fashion styles and alcohol beverages are hot? Come on I’m 34 and i know Jay z did a lot for the alcohol industry just by shouting them out in his rapws and saying he drinks them. Look what he did for NY fitteds? Look what he did for Button Up shirts? You can;’t tell me that impressionable kids don’t wantn to become hustlers just to be like him. this man has glorified it i mean really. He claims that he doesn’t want kids doing it so why after having amassed a networth of more than $350million is he still rapping about selling drugs and shooting guns? there has to be some level of accountability with theh artist. See he’s not a new artist so he chooses what topicws to rap about. On Kingdom Come he was still glorifiying it. American Gangster still glorifiying it.
Not sayhing rap is the sole blame. But the youth look up to rappers more than anyone else. they dictate a lot in the economy. they are the real engines that make shit go. They sell clothes, cars, they make everything hot. So you really dont think they have an effect on kids pikcing up gunbs and selliing drugs to be fresh?

Now we see this stuff that’s on the streets now thats aimed at kids who may fall for the street bullshit but thats all it is…bullshit!
We all know that no rapper is out there killing and selling dope still making millions a year. 90% of all rappers who did sell dope were small time corner boys and made lunch money if they did sell drugs.
