Need Some Holiday Cash??

Posted by Media Outrage on December 9th, 2008

DMX

Looking for a way to get more toys for the kids, or that diamond tennis bracelet for wifey? Well look no further. DMX is a wanted man and a $5,000 reward has been issued by Maricopa Sheriff’s office because he missed court on Friday. SMH. He should definitely land in Wikipedia under record for “most times arrested.”

I know they exist. Good job on naming some positive rappers. Philadelphia homocide list from 2007- 498 murders. Hmm wonder who was commiting them?

Philadelphia homocide list this year- 373 wonder who’s commiting them? yep you got me, its serial killers. lol. or is it the same kids that Jay z has brainwashed into thinking that carrying guns and selling drugs to your own people are cool? Not a racist justw stating facts. Love rap music the positive ones. Hate the poisonis stuff. 2020 you’re kind of quiet too young man.

Since Im was born in Philly and raised in Jersey I like to comment..remember, South Philly is full of Italians who carry those same guns that you are talking about. Sure, North Philly is probably buck wild too but do you honestly think the drugs they are fighting over are from the boats of Africa or the Boats of Columbia that the South Philly Mob controls?!?..

    Just asking?

  37. Aryan Nation Says:

@ DT- you are right. Yea and that’s the reason why T.I. was trying to buy 100 machine guns. That’s why it’s a 9/10 chance that you’ll get shot at a rap concert lol. STop with the italian drug nonsense the problem in philly (used to live there last year) is RAP. these kids aspire to be nothing but drug trappers thanks to T.I. Young Jeezy Jay Z BIG thats what the problem is. you cant say its the economy because the murder problem in Philly happened way before Bush. YOu know?

    [Reply]

  38. Dickwell Thrust Says:

But what you dont understand is that has nothing to do with rap. That is one man’s ignorance and his alone. They didnt give him a “rapper’s discount” on those guns! Your looking at Hip-Hop as a scapegoat for the real problem and it’s poverty and ignorance that was propelled wayyyyyyyyyy before hip hop was ever stated. You honestly think people are killing each other because Jay said pick up a fucking gun?!?!

Or was it the Anglo-Saxton who gave them the drugs and money to buy the gun?

    [Reply]

  39. Cut Up Says:

It is very easy to state what you feel the problem might be or what it stems from. You know, point the finger. However, how about instead of digressing back to the early 90′s namedropping B.I.G and Pac. Let’s catch up to the 21st century and Progress by stating some possible solutions to the problem. We see even with the lastest election that is was and still is easy to be negative and proclaim it. How about trying to shed some light on the situation instead of closing the blinds of your mind.

Generally speaking Please do not come at me with any “Net Bangin”

    [Reply]

  40. Aryan Nation Says:

Rap isnt’ the total problem. But are you honestly telling me that you don’t think these kids worship these rappers to the point where they imitate everything they do?

    All jokes aside, classic point.

Who dictates which fashion styles and alcohol beverages are hot? Come on I’m 34 and i know Jay z did a lot for the alcohol industry just by shouting them out in his rapws and saying he drinks them. Look what he did for NY fitteds? Look what he did for Button Up shirts? You can;’t tell me that impressionable kids don’t wantn to become hustlers just to be like him. this man has glorified it i mean really. He claims that he doesn’t want kids doing it so why after having amassed a networth of more than $350million is he still rapping about selling drugs and shooting guns? there has to be some level of accountability with theh artist. See he’s not a new artist so he chooses what topicws to rap about. On Kingdom Come he was still glorifiying it. American Gangster still glorifiying it.

Not sayhing rap is the sole blame. But the youth look up to rappers more than anyone else. they dictate a lot in the economy. they are the real engines that make shit go. They sell clothes, cars, they make everything hot. So you really dont think they have an effect on kids pikcing up gunbs and selliing drugs to be fresh?

  41. Rachel Says:

Aryan Nation first off your name is not cool at all. I think if you want to engage in intelligent conversation you should really select a less offensive user name. Then again do what you want. But like you came in here insulting rap and hip hop as if it is solely to blame for society’s problems. I can’t stand that kind of thinking. It’s one of the problems i have with Oprah. Love her show and all but she is very closed minded when it comes to hiphop and this young generation.

  42. cupcakestl Says:

Man this shit went to the left and why when 09 is around the corner??

Sad on all levels because their are a lot of problems and issues with the community kids

rappers government and racist. We should not pointing the finger and playing the blame game but

identify that there is a problem and lets move forward and make shit

better so we can all grow as a Nation.

    [Reply]

  43. Dickwell Thrust Says:

Listen, Im 31 years old and I know this… But case in Point 70 percent of all Hip-hop is bought by whites. So what your saying is that little Vinnie Valducci living in Bensenhurst picks up a gun and pulls the trigger Jay and his influences told him to do it? NO!

Little Vinnie was a sick son-of-bitch from the start that just happened to listen to hip-hop.

What you have to realize is that we created something that the whites dominate in board rooms. I know you may not remember when most rap was positive back between 1987-1992 with Public Enemy and some “conscience” artists but they shut that type of rap down quickly because it was not selling in their eyes and they called it anti-semetic. Now we see this stuff that’s on the streets now thats aimed at kids who may fall for the street bullshit but thats all it is…bullshit!

We all know that no rapper is out there killing and selling dope still making millions a year. 90% of all rappers who did sell dope were small time corner boys and made lunch money if they did sell drugs.

    [Reply]

  44. cupcakestl Says:

This thing went to the left Why when 09 is easily around the corner????????????

Sad on so many levels when we all have problems issues, and they lay with thin our community

government selves schools rappers racist, and country.

We just need to identify that we have an issue and move forward pointing fingers and playing

blame game is the weakest that we all can do. Cuz that doesn’t matter or get anything solved if

we can work on that then we all can grow as a Nation. Oh like Soul r&b soft rap reggae

@ Miss E, DT, Cut Up, and all the rest of the regulars that blogs on here everyday. When do you ever see Aryan Nation. Never. He or she just pops up out of the blue.

I bet you any amount of money that this motherfucker is black and he or she is someone who post on this site everyday with a different name. Just look at his slang in his post. This is a black person trying to get yall all worked up. Don’t even waste your time responding. He can’t talk to himself.

  50. 2020VIZN Says:

Yep, he comes on here, digs a hole, stands on the other side of it and sticks his tongue out and puts up a middle finer and baits you into stepping in that whole. You want to hit his ass in the head so bad that you forget that the hole is there and end up with dirt on you. Fuck that, I anit got tiiiiiimmme!!!

    [Reply]

  51. Aryan Nation Says:

Ha! This is funny to me. I read a post the other day in which “Atlanta” went back and forth over a “rapper.” No one said anything about that. I guess because she’s black. Now when I start stating my intelligent points of view, I’m alienated and dismissed as a “racist” trouble maker. DT engaged me in a very thought provoking convo, which 2020, Hovy’s Home, JJ Evans, and other men of this site who shall remain nameless were too cowardly to address. All i asked was for someone to name me 5 positive rappers and the women did it. No beef here.

    [Reply]

  52. Dickwell Thrust Says:

    Aryan Nation,

Look you may or may not be a racist but coming on an African-American blog with that name does state ” Troublemaker” I wouldnt go on stuff that white people like with the name “kracker killer” no would I? No!!

Now I understand your viewpoint because alot of older African- Americans dont like hip-hop or rap music but to generalize that black youth is driven to violence because of it is truely and understatement.

    [Reply]

  53. 2020VIZN Says:

Why the hell do I have to name 5 positive rappers to a man that has every NAS album, is your fuckin head warpped? Since You like rap music so much that you have every NAS album, Im sure you have a collection, so do your own research, I aint no do boy. I see through your bullshit because you dont even think about what you are typing, you continue to contradict yourself in your posts. Fuck this little game you playing. Dont come at me with this little kid bullshit dude because I aint no mutherfuckin play toy. Like I said before, I anit got tiiiiiimmme!!!

  54. Smurfette Says:

@ post # 51. What do you mean no one said nothin in the other post about a rapper? Reread my comments on that post. I like how Aryan only wanna see what he wanna see. Funny. I aint about to start listing off postive rappers, because unlike a dog, I don’t like to do as im told. If you don’t know of any positive rap, then you don’t listen to much rap. Just the radio bubblegum. If you don’t feel there are enough postive musicians out here, Aryan, don’t be part of the problem by berating rap. Become part of the solution. Create a rap group. And rap positive til your heart is content. Nuff said.

    [Reply]

  55. Atlanta Says:

@ Aryan Nation…the reason no one said anything to me on that blog about TI and Shawty LO because that was CLEARLY between me and another blogger. I did not come on the site degrading a race as a whole. Get your facts straight. And, just like 2020 said…all you do is contradict yourself. As far as your points being intelligent…well, that is your personal opinion.

F.Y.I. The reason I went back and forth with the blogger on that situation is because Shawty Lo is someone I grew up with since 1978 and he and his family are still close to me right now. So, that was far more than going back and forth about a rapper that was me defending a friend. Just like anyone would do.

    [Reply]

  56. Atlanta Says:

Then @ smurfette…I bit my tongue on your little comment on the other day because I guess you were all happy that you took your daughter to see some Christmas tree so, I let you have that. But, if I am not mistaking you are the same one that tried to get with me about a Trina blog a few months ago. I could be mistaking but I think it was you. And, if it was, practice what you preach.
