Newsweek has compiled their list of 50 people whom they believe are the most powerful in the world. They feel the individuals selected will greatly impact the world in 2009. Barack Obama is #1 of course. Oprah Winfrey lands in at #47 on the list. But we have to wonder why a certain nefarious individual is even on this list. Osama Bin Laden is #42 on the list. We’re giving the serious side-eye on this one. Why is the mainstream media still giving this man that kind of power? No one can find him but he’s making Newsweeks’ 50 most powerful list? What kind of nonsense is that? We would think that since credible media outlets provide Osama with more coverage than a Beyonce tour, that someone would be able to locate him right? This man hasn’t been responsible for a quote un quote attack in years but they’re still keeping him relevant in the minds of the masses. Why is that?

A few years back during the Mad Cow Epidemic, the U.S. government was able to keep track of thousands of cows (they knew when and where they were born, etc. etc.)
We have advanced technological devices such as GPS and other electronic devices to trace cows but we can’t find one man!

Hey M.O. they keep his name alive because Newsweek is sick like him. How can u put a man in 50 most powerful people, when this man has traumatize peoples lives forever. Plus he is #42 and Oprah is #47, wtf. They need 2 do better on their list, because I don’t agree with that at all.
What is Osama powerful for? For not being caught? This is a slap in the face, recognizing a terrorist as a powerful person. And they wonder why other countries laugh at us!

He is one of the 50 most powerful people, any time you can assemble the mass amount of military power the U.S has to look for you this long and still not find you,means you really should be the number one powerful person in the world. Each time this man has a recorded msg for the U.S and we give it airplay, he’s powerful. We are going into the next year with the second agenda of adding more troops to Afghanistan, to help “find” Bin Laden. He is powerful. His name being on a list, written by a magazine, distribute all over the U.S and given a spot in history by Time means we the U.S have made him more important in the wrong setting, and given a spotligth he does not deserve…. Just my Opinion!

Obama is on the list because the U.S. and europe need to put a face on “terror”. But they are quickly realizing that people are not stupid and that their little game is failing. Soon there will be a new face on terror. Have you guys seen the attacks in India in the past weeks? when 9 gunmen attack very rich aprt of Mumbai looking for British and American citizen. They killed 8 of them and kept 1 alive. Then a few days later, the only gunman wrote a confession that him and his buddies plan all of this. BUT HTE MEDIA ONLY FOCUS ON HIS CITIZENSHIP:PAKISTANI. WHY ? CNN ,FOX,CBC,BBC, FRANCE2, all those news outlet had one tilte ” the gunmen were from Pakistan” HUUUH SO WHAT?
I know for a FACT, tha the U.S. want to go in Pakistan baaaaaaad. Obama said he will withdraw the trrops from Iraq in 2011, But be careful He didn’t say taht they’re coming back home, I haven’t hear him said that ! did you ? all he’s going to do is have more trrops in Afghanistan, especially in the mountains between the pakistani and Afghan Border “Looking” (wink wink ) for Bin Laden. Then he going to say ” We have strong intelligence taht Osama is hidding near the town of “I don’t know” in Pakistan..so we need to get there” and Voila ..the U.S is in another middle eastern country….and by the The U.S will never leave Iraq…they are there for good…

i think the reason he’s still being talked about is because the media doesnt want americans to forget that the dude is still out there and ’still a threat to national security’ i dont think he’s as influential as he used to be. there are so many terror groups all over the world and i dont think he controls all of them. but i guess terrorism also needs PR machine.

As long as he is a world wide threat to the U.S. or anyone else that he feels need to mention in his tapes and threaten then guess what, he is going to be on the list. Imagine if the neighborhood you lived in or even your street supposedly you knew everyone that resided there, but this one guy in this one house was a registered child offender and you knew it plus you have three young children would he not be a threat to you. Now that there is a local threat. Bin Ladden is what I described as a world wide threat. We can say Bush was responsible, but he wasn’t he was just responsible for ignoring the signs and warnings.
Put it like this, If Bin Laden released a tape today and said that he is going to bomb Times Square on New Years Eve would the gov’t not take that serious? Better yet, would you go attend the festivities that evening. I’d rather hang out here for that shit.

I saw where someone said that they need to rethink their list. They only need to rethink it if they are going to move him up. People may not like it but “Bin Laden” is #2 on this list but it would be messed up to Read #1 Obama and then #2 Osama. We would all be like these motherfuckers are pulling that bullshit again!!! But I want to tell yall bad as hell why this dude is so powerful but I know I will ge pushed into a black truck and never be heard of again.

Osama Bin Hiding shouldn’t be on the list. He wasnt responsible for 9/11. He’s just another pawn in this ridiculous “war on terror.” The media pays him so much attention because Bin Laden helps to further their secret agenda of continuing to eradicate our constitutional rights and the invasion of foreign lands. Love Barack but he’s just going to get sworn in and do their bidding also. Trust and believe that whatever President who has decided to have a mind of his own and go against the “system” has been assassinated. JFK, Lincoln just two exmaples. So it’s the media’s job to keep Osama Bin Laden’s name in the news in order to keep our blood pressure up and support the gov. false war. If they happen to destroy the Osama myth then another “all powerful villain” will arise out of another cave.

Bin Laden is in cahoots(always wanted to use that word in a sentence) with the Bush Administration. That’s why he’s on the list. He’s working beside the US soon-to-be-ex President.
Why do I have they feeling that Bin Laden will either be found,killed,or just drop off the face of the earth after Bush is out of office?

Since Marathon Man put it out there, fuck it!! He is spot on and they will be using terror to usher in the era of the chip, Which is the the final step in NWO. That will be the point where they will have total positive control of everyone who is chipped. It will be sold as an Identification phenom and a tool in the war against Terrorism. They will make it almost impossible to do just about anything without it, forcing people to submit to being chipped. Now since they have made old Bin Laden the face of Terrorism we can thank him for being the scapegoat in taking us into this new era. Bin Laden is not in hiding, he is in protective custody. He was treated by doctors at a UN Medical Facility in the middle East. Now before I step off of this post, lets remember where power comes from, Power is always given. When THEY dont want you to have power the take it or they take you. But Bin Laden is powerful because he will be the reason(Excuse) to go into NWO. If that aint power then waht is?
