Sources tell us that she has been tapped to play “Ginger” in an upcoming movie “Gilligan’s Island” that studios are working to bring to the big screen. So outta AAALLLL the actors in Hollywood, she’s the only female available or the best for the job? If that’s true, that’s really sad. I mean, Ginger? Gilligan’s Island? DAYUM. I don’t know who the casting director is/was but sexy, TALENTED bombshells types are plentiful so there is no excuse. I’ll wait for it to come on the Lifetime Channel, thanks.

I don’t think she’s paying casting directors. They just see that she’s very marketable and knows that her name alone will sell a movie.

I don’t think Cadillac Records did very well in the box office but it was a good movie.
Beyonce get most of her movie roles because she comes on as a producer.
She is smart…she knows how to go Get IT!!!

From what I can remember all Ginger did was walk around in ball gowns and act sexy.
For someone who wants to further their career and become a serious actress why would they want to play a role such as this. To me this is a step backwards.

Earth to Yvonne..Beyonce isn’t exactly the most talented person when it comes to Acting..Hell, there’s not even an smidge of acting talent there!! She tries…Lord Does she Try…but it always seems to fail!! There’s nothing to “further”…She should just stick to what she does best..(and it certainly doesn’t include ACTING).

Beyonce is by no means a talented actress. Her vocals have stepped up 100 fold over the years but her acting, not so much. She needs to make albums, or clothes, or what ever the hell else her mama tells her besides movies. Enough is enough, didn’t she learn that overexposure lesson from J.Lo?
On a side note, it’s nice to see that Loreal gave her back a little bit of her real color in this ad. The other one was just outright offensive…

I believe that she is taking advangtage of the fact that at this time she is immensely popular.
So Bey is riding the train … as she should.
I think she will do good as Ginger, no it won’t garner an Oscar.It is another paycheck, which is a lot more than some of the other un/employed entertainers in her arena.
