Beyonce may be a great performer, but an actress she is not. There are so many other talented actresses that could have played this part (Nia Long). She might need to stick to doing musicals.
Dont be surprised if in future interviews she takes credit for writing, directing, producing, filming, technical engineering and marketing this movie. You know how she does.

i am defintely not going to PAY money to see this movie . beyonce is a talented singer but she cant act …please give it up beyonce…if she was serious she wud get an acting coach and try to lose the accent like my boo idris lol. i love that man . he is sexy as hell. he seems so down to earth when i see him on interviews and other places. but i actually saw a clip of the movie A LONG TIME AGO and it looked like a lifetime movie . ill wait for it to come on tv and i agree idris is def underrated.

Beyonce is not an actress,face it people.This movie reminds me of a long version of “ring the alarm”it’s whack,but the guy is gorgous.I guess Beyonce wanted to be held by a true stallion,and the only way to do it was to make a movie with one.It’s her giving off that same attitude she carries when she’s singing or somebody is messing with Jay-Z.Can she ever play a role ouside of the box.Something when she’s not singing,ass-shaking,or prancing around half naked.I tell you what,when you accumulate that much money,you can say you’re an actress even when you suck at it.I personally think Beyonce is her biggest fan.She should start acting like a married woman and have a baby or something,stop stealing other people’s ideas and songs.After-all we can’t wait to see how those babies look!!!!!!
