50 Explains why he didn’t attend the Inauguration

50 who is never at a loss for words on any topic explained why he didn’t hit up D.C. for the Inauguration.

While he says he’s pleased with Obama’s victory, 50 said he never thought to attend the festivities, unlike Diddy, Jay-Z, Nas, Young Jeezy and others. He even poked fun at Obama-mania, saying that since the president didn’t invite him to party, he’d stay home.
“I [might have] watched it from a really nice hotel room in D.C.,” the rapper told HollyScoop.com at the Sundance festival before Tuesday’s inauguration. “Because there’s gonna be a whole lot of people out there, for no reason, doing different things. If Obama didn’t invite you, you really shouldn’t be there. You really shouldn’t. That’s the way I feel about it. Because when I go places that people didn’t invite me [to], they look at me crazy, like, ‘Why is he out there?’ “
Fif wasn’t all jokes, however. He soberly admitted the difficulties the new president faces and the challenges that lie before him.
“I think he’s inheriting the country in a difficult state,” 50 said. “Actually the worst [state], right? So I think it will take time. I hope, for all of our sakes, that whatever his plans are work for us.
“People watch [Obama on] the monitor like God is speaking, like, ‘I hope he can get me a job,’ ” Fif added.

He made a statement earlier in the election that he was scared to vote for Barack because he think he will get killed. You can’t be scared

I agree that people do look at Barack like he is a messiah. I hope that people do realize that he is human and it will take some time.

This dude is so self obsorbed that he seems like he is all butt hurt because he was not invited. All of the positive people that supported Obama from day had to be invited to this event. Did He forget that he went on record as saying that he was a Hilary Clinton Supporter, and came up with the lame excuse that he didnt want him to be killed for being black and in power as the reason that he wouldnt vote for him. And this coming from a dude who causes conflict, beef and shootouts with other black men at every corner he turns. Now thats an Oxymoron. 50 cent is full of ish. He is bought and paid for, if you know what I mean. He had a chance to be part of History and he let it pass him by, all he had to do is vote but he didnt. People old, young, black, white and everything in between made it a priority to vote and wouldnt let anything stop them. But this clown didnt even support or believe in the movement and yet wants to be invited. This guy is sad sad case, I feel sorry for his son because, his dad may have a little money but how can you look up to man that has tried put himself and his son on the back of the bus. I bet Qunicy Jones and Bob Johnson didnt get invited either and rightfuly so but they are not dillusional like he is. 50’s excuse is elementary and a lame cover for his inferiority complex.

I happen to agree with 50. He was not needed and I respect a celeb who knows there place. The has an opinion and I respect his right to say it. I’m not as excited as most people due to my circumstances. If I was doing better, my position may be different.
