Russell Simmons Talks Child Support

Russell Simmons often scours the internet to see what’s going on just like everyone else. Well after reading about his own $40,000 child support story today he had this to say on his site GlobalGrind:
I am reading these stories today about how a judge ordered me to pay Kimora $40,000 a month in child support and I want to make something very clear. Nothing was ordered, it was given. My kids have a fabulous life; they are exposed to a broad range of artistic and scholastic educational programs and I’m very happy to contribute to that. As long as I have it, they can have it. If I ever don’t have it, I’m coming to live with them!

This is the ideal way to end things with a former spouse. Kimora has always been discreet about ending things with Russell and has taken nothing but the high road when parting ways with him. Spouses who can end things amicably are usually putting the children first and that’s how it should be. They both are successful, however Russell sits atop an empire and this nominal amount of money is the least of his worries. I wouldn’t expect any less of him as his children are heirs to his throne.

Somebody tell me what can they possibly need each month that 40,0000.00 will have to be spent? Seriously what the hell are they doing besides going to school, that they need this amount spent on them each month…….
This is a waste. Not to say they don’t need support but at their young age they can start with $5000.00 if that. He pays for private school. They have a clothing line for access to clothes. She has a household staff that helps her take care of them. Other than that what the hell else is there?
