Advice From Hovy Hov

Rihanna seems to be adhering to some wise advice, from long standing mentor, Hovy Hov.

Chris Brown may not be officially broken up but sources say Rihanna may be heeding the advice of her mentor and former boss Jay-Z.
Jay-Z, a longtime associate and mentor of sorts for the Barbadian superstar, is said to have told the “Take A Bow” singer to cut ties with Chris Brown.
“Jay-Z told Rihanna she needs to cut things out with Chris, at least in public,” a source told US Weekly.
“They’re taking a break.”
News of Jay-Z’s advice is not surprising, if of course true, because he was previously quoted to have as “hit the ceiling” when news of Brown and Rihanna’s alleged altercation was made public in February.
Mediaoutrage- She needs a little time away from Muhammad Ali, so she can recollect her thoughts. If she does infact leave him and really move on, his career will most likely CRASH n BURN quicker than Air Force One with a suicide bomber on board.

I doubt if her career will fail if she leaves him but just like I said in previous post. Who are we to be mad at Chris Brown? If Rihanna wants to stay with him and get her ass beat then that is her. If she is not upset with him then why should we be???
I spent the past three years upset at my best friend because she will not leave her VERY abusive boyfriend. Then I woke up one day and realized if she wants to leave him then its nothing to it but to do it. Hell, some women like to get beat up.

your right @ atlanta, i also had an associate that used to get beat up by her man, and when that broad ever told me she loves it, she said that means they love you when they hit you, i thought that had brain damaage, and cut her ass loose, i dont deal with low self esteem people, like that, because its no use in wasting your time or breath , and to think this dude didnt so called like me at all, and i was in college and doing the right thing, then he goes to jail and get out and tries to talk to me, saying he always wanted me, and that hate was just an act, he knew he couldnt have me so he pretended to hate me, i was like that is a damn shame, dudes aint shit, well dudes like him aint shit anyhow, i straight put his ass down and stepped,

Everyone is having a field day with Breezy. All these ‘celebrity’ women came out of the woodwork to tell us how they had suffered some form of abuse or another. Seems like some of them are taking their frustrations out on the boy. Some are just trying to stay relevant (Robin Givens anyone). It would be interesting to see how things unfold if he were to resurrect his career.
