Google Wants To Buy Twitter

Twitter has quickly emerged as one of the most popular social networks on the web. Its real time updates is what makes the site such a draw. As always, when a site rises in the ranks of popularity and unique visitors, other Internet giants attempt to acquire it. Well Twitter is no different. Back in November Facebook made an offer of $500 in stock that was politely turned down. Now, Google wants Twitter, but, insiders say that CEO Evan Williams wouldn’t sell, not even for $1 billion.
