Ray J performed at B.B. Kings in NYC last Friday. Forget the fact that his music is terrible. Our question is this, how many people feel that it’s degrading for women to compete on shows like Flavor of Love and The Love of Ray J?

I will admit that I watche his show…and he is full of pure dog doo doo!!! He looking fo love about as much as B Scott is looking for a woman! He is one of the biggest playas in the biz and he makes no bones about it…the women that get with Ray must go in knowing that they are simply a piece of azz..nothing else!
When it comes to degrading women on reality shows…a man can only go as far as you let him and if women didn’t line up like the homeless in a soup line…men could not do the things they do! Ultimately the choice is up to the women that put themselves in these situations…men will be men! At the end of the day…these women are out for themselves anyway…EXPOSURE!

It is pretty degrading but these are usually women cast through their own management. Most of them are actresses and models tryna get on. That’s why you always see them on the scene afterward. They were plotting from the jump.

I think it’s pretty degrading and they need to repent for even subjecting young women to this type of exposure and on that note, I think MTV should throw me my own reality show called “Marathon Mania” in which i get to pick 30 bangin’ women from different states to live in a house (that MTV pays for, of course) and they get to vie for my attention and affection.
What’s the catch?
INstead of wining and dining, these beautiful big-butt heffas get to jump on the king size bed with me and ride me till I shoot human pina colada juice.
NOW, which ever shortie makes Marathon Man bust in 0.3 seconds, wins the show and gets to have her back blown out every day for a year.
MTV! You got to move on this! It’s reality Television GOLD.

is it degrading or are the women degrading themselves. ray j, wasnt looking for love, he was playing games, i watched some of the shows, as much as i could, then i saw the reunion, he wasnt lookin to sure, like when chardonnay got up there, he was checking her, he said to her, he still want to get to know her, that chick he picked, that shit was a game to him, and it wont last , im sure she know it as well, after she was picked, she didnt talk to dude for 3 months, come on, aint no way, and still calling herself his woman, it was just a big joke to me, and mad funny tho, especially when danger and unique was into it, LOL

I didn’t watch the show, but saw part of the reunion. I think its a matter of doing whatever it takes to get your 15 minutes of fame. Like someone said above, a man an only go as far as you let them….tv or otherwise.

I don’t think that these shows are degrading women. The women on these shows are degrading themselves and making themselves look bad. You don’t have to act an ass when you go on those shows, well I guess unless you’re ugly and want to be famous…or if you have low self esteem and want people to notice you….i don’t know…

It’s not degrading unless the women are…plain and simple. These woman are stupid for going on “reality” television.
I think there is no middle…either do movies or sitcom television or go porn…reality television is only using these stupid broads for no reason. They will never be considered real actresses because they dont have the talent. All they ever talk about on these shows is sex, so why not go hardcore and get paid for it?…Gay-J and his show isnt giving you good exposure, but im sure Vivid video will…..

I think it’s degrading. Look at how they conduct themselves just for a man. I would never ever no matter what amount of money live in house with a bunch of funky dirty women. Just for a chance to slob some lowlife. Nor would I share a date lookin like a pack of whores with a pimp just to say I am on TV. In the end all you have is face time. No matter who he picks it’s not real and she will never see him again………

I don’t think any of those women care because they have such low standards for themselves. I think mostly desperate women or women that will do anything and I do mean ANYTHING to be on television. Women like that strike me as not just gold diggers but women that are not willing to work hard and make a way for themselves…they are looking for a break…hoping that these men will take them seriously enough to wife them up and they will be set for life…financially that is! I have not yet seen one woman on any of these reality shows present themselves in a way that would make Flav, Ray, or that Rock star say hmmm…she’s wife material! I think in the end it is about who has the best P#SSY! Plain and simple! They sleep with all of these women and keep the ones who don’t mind being used! As soon as one says…hold up…I can’t just sleep with you just because, she is eliminated, she’s never the winner!
