Country music always sells! This list represents album sales, not # of fans, or who gets radio play, or what music we bump in our cars. Rap would have been the winner in those categories. A lot of rappers didn’t make the list cuz their shit is downloaded or bootlegged. But congrats to Eminem

  2. Smurfette is right…

Rap and Hip-Hop is bootlegged. I havent bought an album since Harriet Tubman was in the 9th grade so I am one of the guilty parties!

    LOL @ DT!

But yeah Smurfette is right. Cause I really can’t remember the last time I bought a CD. LOL!

I’m surprise to see Nelly in the top 10 ..good for him. I love music and I buy on avg 5 to 8 cds per month. But I haven’t bought any hip – hop album since 1999, because Hip Hop is crap right noW(except Common, Talib Kwaleb, and Kanye). Why spent $15 on a cd for 1 song, when you download that song for free…I don’t blame people for downloading. You want to see hip hop sale rise again , come out with some good shit….

I am sorry, I have never brought a rap Cd. As much as I love T.I. I would’nt buy his cd. As long as Limewire is around we having a love affair for all music I want.
