She is not a good actress and the only time her acting is ‘good’ is when the role is ‘Southern, ghetto, roll-ya-neck, sista-girl, jive-talking, funky finger production afro-wearing, female’…and that is to say that at the end of the day, she really has no range; though she had ‘a moment’ in Dreamgirls…
Sister Act 2 remake…*sighs* The immediacy of things this day and age. People want to crown folk only a few years in the biz as ‘legend’ and ‘icon’ and folk want to remake movies not even twenty years old. And ‘folk’ stands for a multitude of people; primarily the lazy-ass writers in Hollywood and rabid-ass stans.
