Kelly’s Doing The Damn Thing

Kelly is just glowing as of late. We’re assuming it has to do with the recent change in management. That has to be a major albatross lifted off of her neck. She’s just performing all over the place now. Kelly ripped it at TAO in the Venetian in Vegas last night. It’s so good to see her doing her thing and we hope it continues with an album release.

Club Promoters calling Mathew Knowles:
Club Promoter: Hey Mat, we’d like to book Kelly Rowland this Friday and we’re willing to shell out hella bread for her.
Mathew Knowles: That sounds great except for the fact that she’s not performing for a year. She needs a sabbatical.
Club Promoter: I don’t understand, I just saw her perform on the BET Awards and read an interview where she said she’s trying to perform as much as possible these days.
Mathew Knowles: Sorry. What magazine was that interview in? Listen she’s not available and really doesn’t want to come to your city.
Club Promoter: Does she understand what kind of damage that could do to her image and pockets?
Mathew Knowles: Hey buddy, you’re preaching to the choir here! I’ve been telling her this but she just won’t listen. Umm….urh rah…Solange is available to do the show if you like?
Club Promoter: What about Michelle? We’d rather have Michelle than Solange because of her popularity with DC.
Mathew Knowles: Nah…Michelle is actually just recovering from arm, wrist and knee surgery. No can do. So what about Solange again????
*Kelly walks in the room*
Mathew Knowles: Hey let me call you back in just a second!
