Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberg issued a statement at a press conference yesterday, declaring his innocence. Andrea McNulty claims that Roethlisberg raped her in a hotel room.
What’s really interesting to us is the LACK of MEDIA coverage this case is receiving. Mike Vick and Kobe Bryant were bombarded with NON-STOP coverage while this has managed to get minimal publicity. We don’t know if the dude is guilty or innocent, just speaking on the difference in coverage. We definitely think race has a lot to do with it. How does fighting dogs get more coverage than a possible sexual assalt case? Smh.
