Pride Magazine Apologizes For Exposing Nia Long's TRUE Feelings About Beyonce's HORRIBLE Acting Skills
Posted by Media Outrage on August 3rd, 2009
Pride Magazine has issued a public apology, for what they say, was bad editing of the article that left Nia Long’s TRUE feelings about Beyonce’s acting abilities open for tabloid manipulation. Yea! Right! Peep game…
Via Singersroom:
Pride Magazine has issued an apology for its controversial July issue, in which Nia Long was believed to have called out Beyonce’s acting skills and other singer-turned-actresses.
“Pride would like to apologies for the fact that editing of the final article may have left Nia’s comments open to tabloid manipulation.”
“As Europe’s premier publication for the woman of colour, Pride seeks only to celebrate the achievements of celebrities such as Nia Long and Beyonce Knowles, and hope no offence has been caused through the media speculation,” says Pride.
Mediaoutrage- They know she meant what she said. They just realized that they’ll never be able to get an interview with Beyonce now. Bey had her middle finger flipped the entire time she was turning the pages of Pride.

Why would she need to apologize for telling the truth. Beyonce is talented but she cant act her way off Sesame Street. These singers, rappers and others need some skills before we go out and pay 10 bucks in a movie theater.
No wonder the “folks” get all their movies from the dude with the book bag at the gas station.

Im sorry Nia’s a hater. She’s probably mad because Beyonce is getting more scripts thrown her way than her lol. Yes, Bey has some major improving to do acting wise, but who doesn’t? She didn’t go to Julliard like most actors, so she is fresh in it. I do think people can improve so that comment about beyonce should just continue being a singer and leave teh acting to the pros is ignorant.

[...] See, this is what I don’t like. When a celebrity speaks their mind and a magazine prints it, a few things occur, person denies they said it and blames the magazine for twisting their words or the magazine has to do something like this: apologize. “Pride would like to apologize for the fact that editing of the final article may have left Nia’s comments open to tabloid manipulation.” “As Europe’s premier publication for the woman of colour, Pride seeks only to celebrate the achievements of celebrities such as Nia Long and Beyonce Knowles, and hope no offense has been caused through the media speculation,” says Pride. Will dumbasses please stop calling someone a hater just because they don’t worship the same people you do? Thank you. It would be greatly appreciated. People have different opinions. And it is a damn shame that society has lost the common sense to know that.

Beyonce’s acting skills are TERRIBLE! Very difficult to watch her portray anyone. She’d probably have a hard time portraying herself in the Beyonce Knowles story…

Beyonce definitely needs to work on her acting skills. She has a few movies under her belt now so there is no excuse. Her skills haven’t improved since Fighting Temptations! I think she’s a great singer and entertainer, but acting, not so much!

Basically I have put the entire Knowles family into the same rank as Celebreality stars, the Jonas Brothers and rabid animals.
They should ALL be dragged behind a barn and shot in the fuckin’ throat!

ROFL @ MM & WHTDB
The media needs to grow some backbone. I couldn’t own my own Web site and magazine, cause the minute Papa Knowles would have tried to pull some mess that recorded message would be up on the site for all to hear.
& @ Why Hate? … her roles in featured films is not what I would call acting. I would call it “An overrated entertainer being read lines from a PA.”

How come Nia did not dog the “rappers-turned-actors”; you know like Will Smith, Ice Cube, 50 Cent, JaRule to name a few. Oh that’s right, she worked with some of these guys. Women dogging other women; especially us as Black women. Show support. If Beyonce were doing something negative, then I could understand. But she is not, Nia is hating.
