Solange and her way more popular sister Beyonce were over in Japan promoting the Samantha Thavasa line. The sisters were looking beautiful and fashionable. Samantha Thavasa knows whats up. They couldn’t have picked two better faces to represent and promote their line (We’re loving Solange’s cut) ….

Yo, i know i’m about to take a few lashings but….THAT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD…what is up with the pepper grains on her head and the fact that, that is what the ‘oiled’ and ‘groomed’ version looks like has me very scared.
I have NEVER found solange to be beautiful…but i will say that her features pop with this cut and her makeup is very well done, makes her look youthful…her sis looks very old and tired, please take a break, a well needed one….
I am definately feeling those shoes, although i think the designer should have the black on the outside instead.
To Solange: I know u are trying to be ‘different’ but this isn’t it. Somethings gotta give… i don’t know, maybe it will look better once the hair has grown but right now her hair is in shock and so am i.

Her haircut timing couldn’t have been better. With the Chris Rock documentary “Good Hair” coming out, I would like to see how many people are still brainwashed into believing that we ain’t nothing but coons unless we got long, straight hair?
Recently having a daughter, I’ve thought about how I’m going to explain how she may not be accepted by mainstream or even her own kind if her hair ain’t processed. I hope by the time she is of age that we’ve gotten beyond this shit.
Solange’s hair, short or long, is fine. I think it’s pretty courageous for her to cut it off and KEEP it off despite the negative press… KUDOS.

well i will admit this, in those pics up there she look very pretty and clean ,clear and yes that style fits her , nothing wrong with short hair, if it looks right on the face and head shape, plenty of men love women with short hair, and many want their woman with long hair, so what the world still turn!
