Oprah To Shut Down New York City For Anniversary

Whenever Oprah does anything you best believe it’s going to be big. Well she is in the planning stages for her O Magazine’s 10 Anniversary party and plans to get it poppin’ in NYC. Peep game….

TV talk show queen OPRAH WINFREY is planning to shut down parts of a New York City highway next year (10) for a mammoth block party to celebrate the tenth anniversary of her magazine.
The media mogul launched O, The Oprah Magazine nine years ago – and is planning a major party for next May (10) to celebrate the longrunning title.
According to E! Online, Winfrey is looking to shut down portions of the city’s West Side Highway for a blow-out block party for all her fans – in addition to a star-studded musical revue scheduled at Radio City Music Hall.
A City Hall official has confirmed Winfrey has made permit enquiries for the event; however, the star has so far refused to confirm any details.
Her spokesperson says, “While it is too soon to discuss specifics, we are looking forward to celebrating in a big way.”
