A DREAM Come True For Christina…
Posted by Media Outrage on August 28th, 2009
Christina Milian can now jump for joy and relax a bit now that her soon-to-be husband has been named VP of Def Jam Records.
Via AHH:
The Dream, born Terius Nash, made the announcement today (August 27) via his official Twitter page.
“I wanna thank everyone at Island Records/DefJam for their faith in me and making me Executive Vice President of Island Records,” The Dream said in a statement on his Twitter page. “Thank you to my team..my manager Mark Stewart & my attorney Aaron Rosenberg for getting this 1st step of a goal accomplished.”
He went on to thank a number of inudstry executives who have supported him, including his production partner Tricky Stewart and Island Def Jam Chairman, Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Universal Records’ Chairman Doug Morris.
“I look forward to the challenge of rebuilding music for not only Island Records But for Universal Records as a whole. Today I’m humbled and blessed,” The Dream said.
For reasons unknown, The Dream also revealed today would be the last day he posted to his Twitter page, although no reason was given.
The news comes during a high point in the 30-year-old’s career.
Last week, it was confirmed that The Dream and his girlfriend Christina Milian applied for a marriage license in Los Angeles.
The pair are expected to tie the knot within the next 90 days.
The Dream was married once before, singer/songwriter Nivea, but divorced her in 2007.
He couldn’t forget Christina:
Oh yeah thank you Christina for your wonderful belief in me i love you! also i want to thank the entire Nash family and Milian family for the Super Support you Give! This doesn’t mean i have extra money it means i have extra bills”

So does this mean he’ll really stop recording? I’d rather see him play this position than to ever release another album!!

Yea she did good on this one. Her music career sucked, so she did her thang and whip Dream into thinking she’s the one. It worked, can’t be mad at her.
